At the same time,
Gina was at Violet's house. She was really happy that Violet is back but put up a tough front to tease violet.
"Don't talk to me, I am still mad at you. Hoe could you not even notify me." Gina said with pouting lips and crossed arm.
"I am really sorry but i just need some time alone to think things through. Oh right, how are things going along between you and Justin Xia. The first time you two met, he seems to have interest in you." Violet asked
"I have not talk to him after you left. Being best friend with that b*stard, he will not be any better so i should not have any relations with him." Gina said coldly.
"Don't talk about him like that, he is at least my brother, Uncle and auntie wang treated me very well like i was their daugther after my parents left me." Gina immediately knew who the 'him' Violet was refering to
"Don't tell me you still love him after how he had treated you." Gina question Violet furiously but she knew what Violet's answer was with her expression.
Violet was silent for a long time
"Anyway, I will not be a busybody between you two. Just don't come to me crying again." Gina tried to neutralised the awkward atmosphere.
Violet finally spoke but she avoided the topic about Adrian." You should still give Justin a chance. Try knowing him better."
"Now you are trying to matchmake me huh, ok i may consider giving him a chance if we met by fate again." Gina said cheekily
A few days later,
Adrian was pacing outside Violet's old house, struggling whether to press the door bell when Violet walk up to him from behind and Adrian froze.
"Brother Adrian, you are here, do you want to come in and have a cup of tea?" Violet was abit uncomfortable facing Adrian. Adrian frowned when he heard her calling her brother Adrian and not Adrian anymore. He knew that it will be difficult to return to the old days
"How have you been?" Adrian tried to initiate a conversation
"I have been fine exploring the outside world. What about auntie and uncle?:
"My parents have stopped travelling for a long time due to health reasons. My mother especially misses you. You come and pay her a visit one day." Adrian said in a low voice which attracted Violet's attention
"Ok, I will visit soon."
After five miutes, Adrian left the old house. Violet stand at the door with a layer of mist at her eyes and look rather serious. "Have he not been eating well? Have he not been sleeping well? Is he still always busy at work? Why have he become thinner and paler?" Violet was looking at Adrian's fading back view and many questions came to her mind. Violet knew that Adrian come to the old house often as there isn't a speck of dust in the house and only he will come. She really wanted to tell him that she still loves him and how much she misses him during the one and a half year but she didn't dare as she was afrait of another heartbreak. She wanted to forget him but she Couldn't, only to keep her love for him secretly in her heart.
