A few days later Violet went to the Wang residence. She has asked Adrian to be at home on the day she bring little candy over to the Wang residence. She was afraid that she would give auntie and uncle Wang too much shock. Violet was hesitating to press the doorbell when she received a text from Adrian.
"Violet, will you be here soon? You don't have to be too worried, I will be by your side."
Violet saw Adrian's text and was touch, "Brother Adrian, i'm already at the door but I am very nervous now."
"I will come down now to open the door."
After a while, Adrian came down , "leave little candy and your bags to me."
"ok, brother Adrian, then i will head in first"
"Uncle, Auntie, Violet's here." Violet saw that uncle and auntie Wang was not in the living room so she called out to her.
"Oh, Violet is come, come take a seat." Auntie Wang always look forward to Violet's visit
"Auntie Wang, I have something important to tell you." Before Violet could say another word, Adrian has brought little candy into the house.
"Whose.....whose..baby is that? Adrian?" Auntie Wang was shock and she widened her eyes
"Auntie, I can explain. He is a baby I recently adopted from the children's home I am volunteering." Violet explain little candy situation to the elders.
There was a moment of silence after Violet has finished talking. Adrian wanted to say something but auntie Wang spoke first, "Violet, I know you pity this poor child but raising a child is not that easy. You have to take full responsible of this child's life. Adopting a child is not a play matter. And you are single now, being a single parent is even harder."
"Auntie, I..."
"Violet, You are a nice girl, you should know what you are doing, we will not interfere with your decision but we will always be here to help you so come to us when you need help, don't take things all alone" uncle wang look at how nervous Violet was like how a little girl was afraid of getting scolded by the teacher.
"Mum, dad don't worry. I will help Violet too. By the way, his nickname is little candy but he still does not have a name yet. Would mum and dad like to name him?" Adrian tried to pacify his parents.
"What about Jayden? Jayden Song"Uncle Wang said after much thoughts
"Its a really good name, Thank you uncle" violet said.
Auntie Wang was unhappy that Violet adopted a baby suddenly but relented after seeing how jittery Violet was. She then broke into a smile when she look towards little candy.
Violet brought little candy often to the Wang's residence to accompany auntie and uncle Wang. Both of them liked playing with little candy as the house was liven up by the presence of this little one. Adrian came to Violet's house more often and said that he was visiting little candy. Although he looks cold and aloof on the outside but actually he is warm and gentle. There was even tenderness in his eyes. Everytime he come , he would feed, bathe little candy, Adrian would help little candy to change his diapers too. He would not dislike doing this dirty job, instead he would take the initiative to do all this. There was like a bond between Adrian and little candy. Little candy would also not cry and sleep well in Adrian's arms. Violet saw the interation between the two and thought, 'maybe i should tell him the truth...'
