After a few days, Violet went to visit Auntie and uncle Wang.
"My precious girl, you came. Where have you been? You must have suffered because of this rascal." Auntie Wang said looking at Violet feeling sorry
"Auntie, it's all in the past" Violet comforted auntie Wang
" Is there really no more chance?" sorrow was filled in her eyes
"Auntie,its all in the past. What about you, have you been well?" Violet tried to brush off the topic about Adrian
After a hour of conversation,
" Auntie, I have to go now, take care of yourself"
"Ok, you have to come back often to visit us"
At night when Adrian came back home
"Adrian, you have to win Violet back, I only want her as my daugther-in-law, nobody else." Auntie Wang nag at Adrian again
Heeding his mother advice, Adrian went to Violet's place at least once every week, with excuse like his mother ask to send things to her, helping her get daily neccesities and Violet was more than happy by Adrian's visit. A few weeks later, Adrian went to Visit Violet again and as he was knocking on the door, a cry from a baby was heard from the house. Adrian froze and thought, 'Is she married? Why is there cries from baby in her house?" After a few minutes, Violet came to get the door with a baby in her arms.
"Brother Adrian, its you. Come in but the house is in a mess, please do not mind." Violet said to Adrian.
Just as Adrian step into the house, he anxiously asked "Violet, Are you...Married?"
Violet calmly replied "Brother Adrian, Actually....."
Violet explained that she started Volunteering six monyhs ago at children's home and there is a baby left at the door. She took care of the baby often during her visit and became attached to it. The parents of the baby doesn't seem like they will be back for the baby so she decided to adopt him.
"What! You adopted a baby!" Adrian's eyes widened in shock
Although he was still in shock but was relieved that she was not married and he still have chance to win her back.
" Brother Adrian, please excuse me, I need to put this little one to sleep, we can talk later."
After a while, Violet came out of the room and pick up the toys on the floor.
"Brother Adrian, Can you don't tell Auntie and uncle yet. I want to inform and explain to them by myself." The tenderness in Violet has hit the soft spot in Adrian's help.
"Ok...But have you thought it through, raising a child is not that easy." Adrian question Violet
Violent remain silent.
" Since you have decided, you must have take in all consideration. If you need any help, I will always be there. By the way, What is his name?"
"He does not have a name yet as his parents did not leave his name behind but his nickname is Little Candy as when he smiles, it can really sweeten one's heart like a candy." Violet said while breaking a wide smile.
"You can ask mum and dad to name him after you tell them about little candy. I should go now, remember to eat well." Adrian reminded Violet
