Careless blushed so hard that she got flustered and dropped the sweet potato — it landed on Farty's trousers.
"Oh my gosh! I'm such a klutz!" She exclaimed, grabbing tissues from her bag and wiping the mess she made.
However, Farty stopped her hand as she was brushing everywhere even on his 🥵 sensitive part. "No, it's okay. I- I- I'll do it."
Her face was crimson red and she could no longer look at him in the eye. "Some first date, huh." She muttered to herself but Farty heard her.
"It's okay, really. It's no big deal." He beamed at her, making her heart flutter when she saw his smile. It was so bright she swore that she was blinded by his pearly whites. "So, what kind of job are you looking for?"
"Any admin job, I guess. I'm not really picky."
Looking at her, he suddenly thought of something. "You know, my secretary is about to resign... if you want, I can-"
"Oh... how could I possibly work for you? Wouldn't that be too weird?"
"Well.. just temporarily until you can find the job that you are looking for. I need a secretary, you need a job. Problem solved."
Careless thought that it was such a weird set up, working for this man after the first date? This date just looked like a job interview. "I'll think about it," she replied.
Farty smirked, seemingly confident that she was going to end up working for him soon. "Here, have some water."
