Just as he was about 3.14159 inches away from her already sweaty and puckered lips, an elderly woman cleared her throat.
"AHEM!!!"
Her face was scrunched up, obviously bitter that the young ones had a more interesting love life than her dry well.
Careless flinched, surprised that someone was beside them.
She and Farty backed away, clearing their throat as the elderly woman passed in between them.
"Evening Mrs. Weener."
The old lady only grunted and left.
The pair shifted their weights and looked away, suddenly shy about their almost kiss.
Awkwardly, Farty raised his hand, didn't know what he was going to do and ended up patting Careless on the shoulder. "Heh... ah.. mhmm... so I'll see you then."

Monday came and Careless had just arrived at Farty's front door.
She was about to knock when the door opened.
"Oh, you're already here. Great!" Farty did not let her in but instead, he casually placed a hand on her back and led her towards the different areas of his company.
It hasn't even been 10minutes later when Farty asked her out. "It's almost lunch, how about we grab something to eat?"
But she just got there and it was still 10 am! What lunch? But since Careless didn't have any breakfast, she was starving.
"Umm... okay."
And that's how they ended up in a 2 star Michelin Restaurant. For 'Lunch'.
