It's Halloween morning, Grace and I are getting ready for the Halloween party she planned. We recieved our costumes yesterday and the makeup she ordered too. We look hot as hell! We finally finish the last touches and take a long look in the mirror admiring ourselves then each other. Grace looks absolutely stunning. We already look like vampires but these vampire nun outfits make us look even more sexy and vampiric. Grace planned a Halloween contest too. There are supposed to be a ton of people our age coming. I'm a little nervous because I haven't really been around too many humans. I just hope all the blood I drank this morning will hold me over. Grace promised to keep an eye on me the whole night. I believe and trust her.
I learned yesterday that I can change my eye color whenever I please and I found out that they change any color I want them to....literally every color. I can even put different flakes of color in each. It's super amazing. Grace thinks im a super rare kind of vampire that went extinct about 30 years ago. She said she thinks I'm a descendant of some royal vampires. She can't remember the name but she told me not to worry about it. I hope I figure it out soon so I can really put all my abilities to the test. I am hyper sensitive to everything. I can smell all the humans on our street and all the vampires too. I don't even have to be outside to smell them.
"Are you ready for this party baby!" Grace screams excitedly. She takes me out of my thoughts. I nod and smile widely showing my fangs.
I chose red eyes with black specks in them. Grace only has the two colors so she chooses her red eyes with the blue specks. Our fangs stay out too. I can control both sets of my fangs separately. It's fucking awesome! I think one set is for drinking blood normally and I think I would use both sets when im either dying or really need to heal fast. I'm not sure though. I guess I shouldn't worry to much right now and I should just have fun. So I keep both sets of fangs out.
I head downstairs with Grace and we take a look around at our work decorating the house. It's the normal vampire look that's usually there but we amped it up a couple notches. It looks absolutely amazing. I smile at Grace and then the knocking starts to happen.
-A few hours later-
The party is in full swing and theres about 50 people here. The backyard is full along with inside the house besides the upstairs. Grace used one of her abilities to make it look as if the stairs were no longer there. We keep the blood up there so it's out of the way and no one accidentally finds it. Everyone complimented our costumes and how cute of a couple we are and that we should win the contest. But that's not possible because we planned the contest and we decided to give a hundred dollar bill to the winner.
The smell of human and vampires fill the room and I just now realize that there are more than just 2 vampires here. Man this is cool. I never knew that it could be so amazing being in a room filled with both. I guess I never really noticed being human and all. I wonder if I smell the same as the other vampires or if I smell human. Grace still thinks I have human in me. And I think I do too. She mentioned something about those vampires, the ones I'm like, were 80% vampire and 20% human. I wonder if that's how I am. I focus back on the party. Grace and I are in the kitchen with some of our guests drinking wine.
Yes, actual wine this time. I'm surprised how well I am doing with all the humans around. They smell of sweet sweet blood. But I dont need it. Which makes it extreamly tolerable.
"So Jessica, how long have you and Grace been together?" One of the vampire guests asks sounding like a bitch. I don't change my cold expression. I wonder if she knows im a vampire too.
"Uh well... Grace and I have been best friends since I could remember and we just recently gotten together. Just a few days ago. But I have loved her since I could remember." I give Grace a sincere smile and she smiles back. I hear giggling coming from the vampire girl that asked the question. "You guys wont last." she blurts out with another laugh.
My eyes turn completely black and I stare at her fiercely. She's stunned by my ability to change my eyes back so quickly and doesn't say anything and she just walks away.
Grace asks me a question. I just nod. I honestly didn't hear what she asked me. "Jessica!" She snaps me completely out of it and I stare at her. "Yes?" I give her a soft smile. "Are you okay Jessica?" she asks me quietly.
"Yeah I think so. That girl just really pissed me off. And I wanted to tare her throat from her neck. I couldn't get the image out of my head. It just wouldn't leave my mind Grace. I can't believe I even controlled myself." I trail off not realizing that I started to mumble. Grace takes me by the shoulders and stares me down. She smiles. "You're a very special vampire and I think that helps you stay in control." Maybe shes right but I still have the image of the girls throat in my hands.
Grace and I are seperate now. I'm in the living room and Grace went upstairs to drink some blood. I take a look around and I notice a different type or smell. It's still a vampire smell but its sweeter. I'm drawn to it like a moth to a flame. I end up right infront of this very gorgeous vampire lady who is dressed as a sexy nurse. "You look like you need a check up beautiful, how bout we head to the kitchen and get that started." She winks at me and starts making her way to the kitchen. I follow her. "My name is Selina. It's a pleasure to meet you. " She extends her hand to me. She has this thick Southern accent. I take her hand and shake it. "Jessica" I say. I can't seem to get anything out. She giggles and stares at me. "So, what kind of vimpre are you?" She asks.
Well I guess that answers my question as to if I smell the same as the rest. "There is something different about your smell. You almost smell like a mix of vampire and human. It's intoxicating. I'd certainly love to taste you. My mouth waters just by your smell!" She says with a sexy voice. I blush horribly. God why is she so beautiful. I look away and say Grace should be returning any moment. "How do you know Grace?" I ask Selina. She just smiles and does not answer. Grace comes up behind me and looks at Selina. "I see you two have finally met." Grace says. I look to her asking with my eyes who this person is. She knows I want answers.
**Grace's p.o.v.**
I come downstairs and round the corner to the kitchen. And who other than Selina be with Jessica.....alone....in the kitchen. "Fuck" I say it outloud and a few people look my way. Of course my fucking backstabbing ex would show up here. How did she even get invited? Probably Jared. That asshole! He knew this would be a problem. I make my way over to Jessica and come up behind her and stare daggers at Selina. "I see you two have finally met." I say while still staring daggers through her face. Jessica turns to look at me and I already know what she is thinking. I excuse us from Selina and we make our way upstairs. Jessica stares me down the whole way. "Jessica im sorry about that." She still stares at me expecting an answer quick.
"Selina is an ex of mine. We dated like 100 years ago. I got her out of my life for good I thought. I think Jared must of invited her here for drama. He always loves drama. Anyways..... She cheated on me with humans and vampires and I let it go alot. Finally I decided it was time to leave her for good. She went without a fight. It told me she never loved me to begin with and that was that. Obviously I will always have some types of feelings for her but I would never act on them....ever! I'm sorry you had to even meet her. I should tell her to leave." Jessica stops me.
"It's okay. I believe what you are telling me and I do think it would be best if she left but we can't force her to go. I don't want to be "that vampire" ." I look at her making sure if she is sure with her response. She hugs me then kisses me on the lips. She is so caring and understanding. How did I get so lucky.
**Jessica's p.o.v.**
It's coming up to 12 a.m. This is when we decided to do the Halloween contest. We have a little amp and a mic hooked up and Grace takes it and starts to speak. The room goes silent.
"Today we are all gathered hear to celebrate the best holiday ever..... HALLOWEEN!" Everyone breaks into applause. Grace continues, "We decided to do the contest at 12 a.m because why not. So my beautiful vampire nun girlfriend and I will be excluded from winning the prize money. The winner will be given a fresh new hundred dollar bill!!!!!" She holds it and the crowd goes wild. " I know I know it's very excting. Those of you who chose to partake in the contest please step forward!" People start to move from around the crowd up to the fireplace where Grace and I are standing. It's about 10 people who decided to enter. And guess who is apart of the contest....
Yup, you would be correct if you said Selina. She walks up confidently and honestly, I couldn't blame her. She is so attractive. Her long black hair flows from side to side as she nearly floats over to us. Damn it Jessica stop it. You have the woman of your dreams. You dont need another.
I shake my head left and right and watch everyone walk up. There are alot of great costumes but none of them can beat Grace and my costume. We smirk at each other. "Now that we have our contestants up here we are going to have a little runway show. Let's get our first contestant out here" Grace gestures for the first person to come over and strut their stuff. This person is dressed as a killer clown and it does look realistic. It's amazing. People cheer the contestants on and it's down to the last few contestants. Selina makes her way out and the crowd just errupts in cheers. Obviously she is going to win judging by the cheers coming from the crowd. Like I explained earlier, Selina is a sexy nurse. She wears the costume so well and her fucking scent.....it drives me crazy. I try to ignore her as she struts up and down the room and she catches my gaze giving me this sexy smile and lick of her lips. I break my eyes away and look at Grace who is now staring at me with squinted eyes. Fuck. She seen me looking damn it. Now I will have to explain that. Maybe she wont ask.
"Now that you all have seen the contestants, we will be handing out pieces of papers for you to vote. Jessica will hand the paper out and come and collect your votes from each of you." Grace explains more instructions after that. She says if there is a tie we will have a tie breaker from which the crowd gets to choose. But we all know who will win.
I finish going around and tally the score. To my surprise Selina is tied with a man who is dressed as a sexy vampire man. I wonder why I havent noticed him before. He's human that I can tell but smells nicer than the rest of the humans. His face is perfectly chiseled along with his perfectly chiseled abs. Hes only wearing a cape with black dress pants that hang below his "V". I can't help but stare. His eyes are a bright brown that shine like honey in this dark room. His hair is a bit on the longer side that is black as night. Hes stunning. Grace breaks my thoughts and I jump to the sound of her voice.
"Okay so it's between Saline the sexy nurse or Asher the sexy vampire. We will have the tie breaker in just a few moments. Let's take a break and then get back to it in 10 minutes." Grace puts the mic down and comes over to me. "Let me introduce you to Asher. He's a werewolf." I laugh at her like she is joking. She's not. Thats why he smells different from the humans. But I thought vampires hated the wolfs? And I thought they would smell a little more dog like. I guess that's another thing the movies are wrong about. I should stop thinking that humans were right about any of it because so far its just the blood thing.
We make our way to him and Grace introduces me. I take his hand and he pulls my hand up to his lips and kisses my hand. I don't like it but I wont be rude. "Well Asher, it is a pleasure to meet you." I say trying to sound sexy. He smiles and says the same. He is even more stunning up close. I look to Grace for the next move and she is no longer there. Shit! what do I say now.
"Uhm I don't really know what to say" I look at him apologetically. He just smiles and laughs. "That's quite alright. I'm sure you've never dealt with someone like me before. Im assuming you're a vampire by your smell but you also smell like a human. It's really different. Are you both?" He stares at me waiting for an answer but I don't even know myself. "You know im not really sure. I was just recently changed and was told I am kind of special. So im doing some research on my kind. But im definently not a normal vampire." He still stares directly into my eyes. It's intimidating. I turn away and notice Grace is headed up to the mic. I excuse myself and go up with her.
She clears her throat and everyone is silent once again. "Well lets get back to the fun now shall we! Asher and Selina please step up here." They make their way up and Grace continues. "So for the tie breaker the crowd has decided to make this a kissing contest. And you'll be kissing this wonderful sexy vampire nun next to me" I look at her stunned. She smiles and I walk up to her. "Grace what the hell?" She just laughs and says she trusts me. Ugh what have I gotten myself into. Selina and Asher look super excited. Im not. What if I enjoy the kissing and get into it. What if Grace gets jealous. Oh man this is going to suck. Selina forces her way up and looks into my eyes. "Are you prepared for the best kiss you have ever recieved?" I laugh nervously. She takes me by the face and starts kissing me intensely.
I expected sparks or something special but it wasn't like that at all. Thank the lord! I did not want that at all. But I was kind of expecting it so it did disappoint me when nothing happened. I look at her once she finishes and she seemed to enjoy it alot more than I did. She looks like she just accomplished something shes been wanting to do for a long time. Whatever. Now it's Ashers time to kiss me. Im not really nervous for this one because im not expecting to enjoy it. Yeah he is hot but I have never really been attracted to men like I am woman. He walks up to me and stares into my eyes.
"Are you ready?" He says. I just nod and he takes my face into his hands.
There are instant sparks and I melt into his kiss and embrace. Why am I enjoying this?! I didn't even think I liked men. It takes me by surprise and I get into it pretty quick. I grab is face and start kissing harder. Asher pulls back and just looks at me. For a minute I forgot we were being watched. Oh no I wonder what Grace's face looks like.... I turn to look at her and she is smiling at me. She doesn't look mad or sad or anything but happy. Why did she let me kiss them? This is weird. I start making my way over to her again and stand next to her. She grabs me by my face and kisses me tenderly. Im just so confused.
"So Jessica, do we have a winner?" I nod my head. She tells me to announce the winner. I look around and scream Ashers name. He comes up to the front and takes his money. I notice Selina is glaring at me. She hates me now. Sorry not sorry. I giggle to myself. Asher gives Grace and I a hug and takes the money and holds it up. Everyone claps their hands for him. He turns and smiles at me and then makes his way through the crowd.
"Thank you all for joining our contest and coming to our party. Party is over at 3am and you have to go home! No ifs ands or buts." The crowd moans and some leave immediately. I laugh with Grace about it. It's about 2:30 in the morning and almost everyone has left. There are about 10 people left. Selina and Asher are among that group. Great, I hope we can get rid of them all. Eventually Selina and everyone else leaves besides Asher. I hope he leaves too. He makes his way to Grace and I who have just said our goodbyes to the last 2 people. We look at him expecting him to leave. "Thanks for the wonderful night guys..." Grace and I look at eachother and then back and nod to him. " I'd like to spend the night with you two if you wouldn't mind." Grace laughs and I stare at him. She then looks at me and stares. I don't say no and neither does she and he takes that as his answer. I look to Grace waiting for her to speak. She doesn't. "Grace... are we really going to let him spend the night here?" She gives me a shrug and walks upstairs to get ready for the night. What the hell is with her tonight.
I finally make my way upstairs after cleaning up the house some and go to my room. Grace is already done getting ready for bed and I head to the bathroom to start my routine.
Once im done I make my way back to the bed and see Asher standing infront of Grace. I instantly go to bad thoughts and my eyes go black. Im full with anger and before I know it im on top of Asher fangs extended ready to end Asher. He stares into my eyes. He looks very scared. Grace grabs me and throws me off Asher. I start to make my next move back towards him and Grace catches me mid air and throws me to the ground and gets on top of me holding me down. I stare up into her green eyes and start to calm down.
I am fully calm and my eyes go back to their blue with the red and gold flakes in them. She gets up and helps me up.
"Jessica, he was just having a conversation with me. Nothing more." Grace says softly trying not to make me angry. I look at Asher who is now in the corner looking my way. He offers me a small smile but I growl back in return and he removes the smile from his face. "Guys what is going on with you two? What the hell is going on?!" They both look at each other and then back to me. Grace steps towards me and I take a step back and look at her some more.
"Jessica.... We have to talk about something important." Asher makes his way over to where Grace is standing speaking to me. "We have to do something together." Asher says with a small smirk on his face.
What in the actual fuck is happening here. They both look like they want to undress me. I feel like they are, in their minds. Why do I have the feeling of wanting to rip their clothes off too. Someone better start explaining and explaining fast or things will get ugly.
