"Congratulations, you have successfully been born. Since you are now recognized as a living creature of this world the growth system will now be applied."
As I was basking in my glory a sound suddenly rang out in my head, making me recoil in shock (so much for being invincible) .
"What was that? Who are you? Where are you? What's a growth system?"
As all these thoughts crossed my mind my vision began to change. Strange bars and characters filled the border of my vision following it no matter how fast or far I changed the direction of my view.
" I hope you have a long and happy life, please enjoy"
The sound came again, shocking me once more. I had no idea what the sounds are but for some reason I understand their meaning. As if the sounds were communicating directly to my very existence.
After the sound didn't return and I was left in silence. While I am still curious as to what that was, there is no point in waiting. Having settled down I once again focus on my surroundings.
As I looked around, I saw that in every direction the view was basically the same. In immediate surroundings there were flat green blades coming out of the same cool dampness that I came out of. These blades and I were about the same in height, but beyond a little ways was a massive brown obstruction that shot out of the cool dampness towards the warm light. It was so massive that no matter how far I bent back I couldn't see the top. But what I could see was that there were even more green blades coming out of the brown obstruction.
As I looked down I saw that the cool dampness was also brown in color and to my surprise I too was green. The part of me sticking out of the cool dampness was thin and green all the way up as far as I could see. I say green but I was clearly not the same green as the green blades around me. My green was a bit lighter.
What am I? I am clearly not the green blades. My color is too light. I am not the brown obstructions, I am far too small.
As I was wondering these things a pink tube poked itself out from the cool dampness next to me. "What is this" , I once again thought to myself. As I was curiously observing the pink tub, it wiggled itself back into the cool dampness and disappearing from my view.
"Interesting"
