"Hm?"
The two guys were staring at him. He couldn't see the tanks face due to the full armor he was waring but they both seemed confused. Meanwhile the girl walked up to him and was just yelling at him for some reason. "Hey! I told you, we called this one! Who are you and why did you steal it from us!"
"What are you even talking about?"
"I'm talking about how you stole our raid!"
"Stole?"
"Yes, the rules of raids are that only one group can claim a dungeon at a time! A group can be any size, but once its claimed no one is supposed to go in other then them! How do you not know this? You're a raider like us right? Or are you one of those adventure specialists?"
James was confused. The tank turned and started walking to the throne and the other guy fallowed. James just watched them and didn't do anything. He assumed they were looking for any secret chests or something. After a minute they came back down. The brown haired girl looked at them. Sighing, "anything?" The guy in a jacket held up a brown bag that seemed full of gold. "Hey, Names Marcus, nice to meet you and all, but lets get out of here."
"Alright,"
The group had made their way to the inn by the water. They were sitting together at a table. The other 3 had ordered food, while James just wanted a soda. As he got his soda from the waitress, Nessie started talking, "The system has updated a bit a go, but i thought bothering you with it would have been bad. Soooo hie hehe. Check your profile!"
James didn't think much of it, and just opened it. Above his stats there was a title section with a drop down box next to it. James of course clicked the button. After doing so he saw he had two titles at the moment. [Son of lucifer] and [Pride]. He first looked at the details of the first one,
[Son of Lucifer]

[Anyone who respects Lucifer will feel the need to also respect you.]

[Pride]

[When the the user is in a confident state, all stats increase by 50%]
James noticed they were all laughing and had their food now. Marcus looked at him with a smile. James took a moment to look at him and the other man. Marcus had dark brown hair, and hazel eyes, he was also pretty fair skinned. The other man who was, and is in full armor now had his helm off. He had Very blonde hair, and dark blue eyes. "So kid, what's your story huh?"
James stared at Marcus thinking of how to respond, as he wasn't going to just say something like he's the spawn of lucifer. "Well, nothing special really. I'm just a guy whos wondering and exploring wherever I find myself."
"Haha nothing special? I've never seen magic that looked like that! I think saying that's cutting yourself a bit short don't you think?" The armored man nodded, while the girl just kept eating her food. James laughed slightly in response. "So are you guys newer to the whole... dungeon thing?"
The girl responded and looked at James "There aren't many lower level dungeons at the moment. or even in general. But it makes decent money. Have you never learned about this?"
"No, not really. I've been in a city most my life, so they haven't really talked to us about it yet. Only 3rd and 4th years are really taught that stuff for now."
She sighed, "What's known so far is as fallows, the lower level dungeons like this one, tend to be permanent, and have to be cleared semi-regularly. The monsters that spawn can grow in number if left alone, and can cause large problems for people. Meaning while the higher ones, after being cleared tend to stop creating monsters, and items, etc. There's two known exceptions to this rule. The first one was a tower in Saudi Arabia, the other is a underground city of sorts, in brazil." James remembered when he was younger on the news hearing about a lot of countries had fallen into ruin at the time. "So what happened there?"
"The tower led to most of the Middle East, Northern Africa, and a part of Asia to fall before it was finally subjugated. I never found out the type of monster that appeared, but I knew that it was bad at least. Millions died from it, before it was stopped. Now people have started to rebuild those areas, but there's a lot of ruins still. The underground city...was, different."
"Different? How so?"
She had a grim look on her face and looked down at her plate. The man in armor spoke up with a deep voice, "One day a man was walking up in the northern part of Brazil was walking down a road. He had reported that when he was looking left to the forest he thought he saw something. He started walking that way. Eventually he found what looked like a bunker entrance, it was a shiny silver metal in color. There was two doors on the top, and nothing else around it. Just trees for as far as you could see, and maybe the road a ways back. So... He opened the entrance. Bellow all he saw was clean stone stairs leading down and down, into the dark. The man had called this in, but instead of waiting for people to show up, he went down there. When Adventurers and police arrived there, the man was not outside waiting, and they saw the entrance wide open. The police stayed to make sure no civilians entered, while the group headed down. After they reached the bottom it turned into what looked like a cave tunnel. Not long after it opened up to a massive cave. And when I say massive, I mean like it had an entire city with a castle in the distance big. They found the man standing there in the entrance of the opening. two of the five quickly brought him top side, while three stood watch. They noticed they didn't see any monsters, or any life at all down there. O right, by the way, my names Damon."
"Hm? Right, nice to meet you. So what happened after that?"
"Well, originally the country wanted to see if they could make it into a new city for the people of brazil. However in the process of this they decided to explore past the city in the entrance of the cave. beyond the city, there were fields of grass, but looked like it had a blue tint to them. They ended up going to the castle. From this point on the story is a bit more spotty, but the this is the idea. Hundreds, or thousands of skeletons appeared, some poured out from the castle gate, while some tore their way up from the ground. Some people tried to fight them and others ran. Almost all of them ended up dead. From there the story skips a few days until eventually out of hundreds of adventurers, one came back up, her body still lit a flame blue in color giving a icy cold feeling, yet hot. She was also bleeding from cuts caused by what was assumed to be blades. She said that the group managed to beat the boss, but they all ended up dying. The few that survived the boss died coming back trying to get to the surface. From what she said, the boss was an Undead Wyvern. As they were trying to treat her she went on to say she guessed the area was made for if a group of people who were level 50 maybe could survive. Some said they got her to a hospital others say they didn't get to one in time. The government shut the doors and found that the monsters never tried to escape the dungeon. They only killed those who entered. After that, a facility was built around it, to monitor it, and make sure nothing were to happen."
They all sat there in silence for a bit. James then spoke, "Thank you for the information. I did not know of this. That explains a bit."
Damon nodded.
"I have one last question, what the difference between adventurers and dungeoneers exactly?"
The girl looked up again, "Technically they are the same, but people like to say it like that to explain what people tend to do more. Adventures tend to explore and wonder around finding new things, while dungeoneers keep the dungeons clean so no problems show up. Though they both are given the same license anyways. So they can be interchangeable with their jobs. By the way, you do have a adventure license right?"
"Uh...no?"
She sighed and then smiled slightly, "Alright, common we still have two hours before dark. By the way you can call me Mia."
They went over to a large wooden building by the rest of the businesses along the water side. They walked inside and there was a large room. On the right side was a bunch of tables and people sitting. With also what seemed to be a bar of sorts where you can get drinks or food. On the left side was a reception desk of sorts with two girls behind the desk. And in the back of the room there was a double door, made of wood with carved details in it.
