When he saw the signboard, the corner of his lips twitched.
"Haha" He laughed idiotically.
'No wonder the fatty was trying his best to hold back his laugh.'
He was paying attention to his surrounding when he took the paper and that was when he saw Mr. Park trying his best to hold his laughter.
Now what? What was he going to do now that his last hope of leaving this unknown place turned out to be false?
He clenched his fist and roamed around for the hope of finding necessary information.
He found himself to be in a bad situation this time. Not only he was dragged over here overnight but also had no means to survive in this place. Had he known this before he would at least have packed a bag of food. Not only he was lost he was hungry as well.
But this time he maintained his composure and tried to calmly access the situation. Good things happen to the people who wait and he believed it.
He took out his mobile phone from his pocket and unlocked it but as before the signal bar was empty. He sighed and again put it in his pocket.
"No food, No shelter, No job, No money...How am I going to survive like this?"He roared facing the sky.
Lucky for him no people were around if there were he would have been a laughing stock.
If it was a test to check how one will survive without anything at hand then he was destined to fail this test. But it wasn't time to be crying over spilled milk.
When he was roaming around he came across a building with 'GUILD' written on it. If it was a game the best place to gain some info was a guild.
He went inside the guild. It wasn't flashy with many people in the hall but a normal building and only around ten people were at the hall. The guild wasn't crowded as he had thought so he easily walked towards the reception desk.
When he came closer to the desk, a beautiful voice of a female greeted him,
"Sir, can I help you with something?"
"Ah," He scratched his head and said, "Actually I came here to join the guild."
"Sir before you fill the form to join the guild, can I ask you what rank you are?"She said.
"Rank?"Ryuga said aloud in surprise.
Seeing as he was dumbfounded the female said,
"It seems sir is somewhat unfamiliar with the ranking system. Ranking system is what distinguishes an adventurer's abilities. The ranking system is divided into Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and others. A copper is the lowest rank one can have and Grand Master is the highest. So sir, if you aren't at least a 'Gold' ranked adventurer, you cannot join our guild."
"What? I need to be at least a 'Gold' rank before joining your guild and need to become an adventurer as well?"
"Yes, anyone who wants to join the guild has to meet the requirement set by the guild but there is a way to join a guild without meeting requirement." The female said.
"There is?"His eyes lit up, "How? Tell me."
"By establishing you own guild, of course." she then made a hollow laugh.
"That wasn't funny." Ryuga said with a serious face.
"Okay okay," she then took out a form and said, "If you want join a guild you need to become an adventurer first. So, please fill this form to become an adventurer and after you've experienced hardships and different life threatening situations and improve your ability, you'll be promoted to new ranks and once you meet the requirement you can join our guild."
He swallowed his saliva when he heard her words. If he were to fill the form, his ordinary life where he used to just slack off would be over. But if he didn't fill the form how was he going to survive without food and money. Surviving was important right now before he could return his home. So, he didn't think twice before filling the form.
After he finished filling the form, the receptionist took the form and put a stamp on it and safely placed it with other forms. He was lucky not to have been asked of a photograph because he didn't have any on him.
She then stretched out her hands. Ryuga got confused as why she stretched out her hands.
He then placed his hands above her hand thinking she needed his hands to confirm something before he became full-fledged adventurer.
"Um...sir, actually I wasn't asking for your hand."She said quickly.
"?"He tilted his head in confusion.
"I mean, a silver coin is required as registration fee to become an adventurer."
He immediately took his hands back in embarrassment. The people present in the room laughed at him but the female said indifferently,
"Of course, if sir doesn't have any money we have loan facility as well, it's just that then amount of interest will double up every year."
Double of the money in one year? He was poor and if he were to take the loan then loan sharks would haunt him down no matter wherever the hell he ran.
"How much was the registration fee again?"He asked cautiously.
"It's just one silver coin, sir." She replied.
