Ryuga was enraged and in anger he tore a random copper rank quest and put it in his pocket.
He again glanced at her and she again looked at him and smile.
"Hmph."
He snorted and left the guild in anger.
Well it wasn't like she tricked him. She only stated the truth and it wasn't her who said the quest to get silvers will be for silver rank adventurers and not for copper.
The atmosphere outside was heavy as compared to when he got here before. The people were swarming like bees, shouting and cheering their lungs out.
But why didn't he hear anything from outside when he was inside the guild?He thought to himself.
"Why am I being surprised for? Now there is magic on the earth and it is possible to create a door that can block sounds." He muttered in a low voice.
He was quite interested in why had so many people gathered here. So, he decided to check it out by himself.
The badge in his chest was shining under the sun. When he finally made it to the front he was dumbfounded.
There was a duel in the middle of a road. Well not exactly a duel but a competition.
And the prize just so happened to be a pokédex of a Gold rank adventurer. An encyclopedia of a high rank adventurer was very precious item for the ones in lower rank. Some lower rank even regarded them as their treasure.
High rank encyclopedia would not only contain the information about the beasts but also their strengths, weaknesses which were recorded by the adventurer in their journey.
If they were to sell it, it would cost no less than thousands of silver, hell even more and if the rank was higher, one wouldn't be able to obtain it with money alone.
The two participants in the arena were glaring at each other. The pressure even when they were just glaring at each other made Ryuga's leg soft.
If he got promoted to Silver rank like them, will he also be able to exert such pressure just by glaring? Ryuga thought to himself.
He found the scene very cool and couldn't wait to be promoted to Silver rank.
One of the contestant was bald and had his badge on the waist while other had a long hair and quite charming, who had his badge on his right hand.
The crowd was cheering both of them and was waiting for them to make their move.

The crowd was roaring and not to lag behind the fans of opposite party also cheered,
"Bi Jun"

Finally the man who was wearing badge on his waist unsheathed his sword and leapt towards other man.
"Bi Jun, Beat him! Don't leat him have the encyclopedia." The crowd roared on his jump.
The ladies fans of the handsome man called out in in alarm,
"Ah~ Tian Jin dodge it!"
A subtle blue glow appeared on the edges of Bi Jun's sword as he slashed it at Tian Jin.
But what Bi Jun hit was only air, the man in front of him had suddenly disappeared.
A moment of silence fell on the arena as the crowd was wandering where had Tian Jin disappeared to but it only lasted a second and they saw Tian Jin behind Bi Jun who was slowly sheathing his sword back.
His hair was fluttering in the air when he put his sword back. Everyone wondered why he was putting his sword back when they heard the sound of half of Bi Jun's sword falling in the ground. Bi Jun was on his knees, confused on what had happened.
Ryuga could do nothing but gasp in admiration. Tian Jin's movements were so swift and elegant that most of the crowd couldn't even see it and the ones who saw only gulped their dry saliva.
The moment crowd realized Bi Jun had lost the crowd became even fiercer and were shouting like crazy.
"His swift movements and his fighting style led him to another victory. This is his ninth victory and is only one victory away from getting the encyclopedia." The commentator said. "Who is gonna be his final opponent? Will he be strong or weak? It seems Tian Jin is at his limit, will he win or lose after coming this far?"
Tian Jin then unsheathed his sword and threw it at the sky. The sword then fell in the ground with a metallic sound.

The commentator looked towards the direction the edge of Tian Jin's sword pointed and said with smile,
"It seems the encyclopedia is fated to be his property. His next opponent is a copper rank adventurer."
Tian Jin smiled and picked up his sword and pointed it at the copper rank adventurer.
"Little friend, I challenge you to a duel."
Ryuga had confused look on his face and said as he pointed at himself,
"Eh...me?"
