Opening his eyes, he see the blue sky and trees. He was lying on the ground and the a book fell on his face.
Being alone in such a place, a sudden feeling came to him. He got up and looked around. He was inside a foresf. Full of dark green trees and bird nests.
The soil was hard and dry. The grasses are tall over a feet from an average man's height.
He saw the book on the ground. The book on ground was dusty. The cober was black leather with golden carvings of a dragon in a circle. Probably magic circle. And there were words on the front.
"Grimoire." He read.
Picking the book out of the ground, he walked towards a path betwee the trees. Along thise pathways were golden flowers. Looking like a lotus, with droplers of water on its petals.
On the far horizon was the sun shining brightly. He was a top the hill where he exited the forest behind him. On the plane below was a small village. About five houses were its composed of.
A well was its center and there were little farmplots around. The plants look strange. The leaf was shaped like a circle cup that can hold water. The fruit was a gourd with cut like marks on the sides.
Looking at the small village, Liam came to a realization that he didn't know anyone in this new world. He was also wearing clothes from earth, and maybe it was strange for the new world he is in.
He came out of his trance when sthe sky turned dark. A storm was brewing and it seems like he was near the center. The book lit up and opened itself. It started to float in front of Liam.
The book then flashed words on the blank page. It was only a blank book when he examined it and the paper was strong. He couldn't rip it apart.
There were words being magically written in the book. After some words were engraving on the sides and then a magic circle at the middle as the finishing touch. Two of the blank pages were filled withe words, engravings and magic circle he did not understand.
Then suddenly, a feeling of dizziness came to him. He walked like a drunk then he fell down the hill. Then he fainted while rolling down the hill.
The hill was rocky at the same time its wet. So, when Liam was rolling down the muddy and rocky hill, dirt will be seen on his unusual clothes. Slumps of rocks also caused Liam to have minor injuries such as bruises and scratches however, being unconscious, he cannot feel a single thing and had no choice but to succumb to gravity bringing him down harshly from the hill.
Being in a new world for just a day but he already received misfortunes and pain. Being alone, he did not think that someone will be kind enough to help him. Even if he did not fall. This mysterious world was new to him and he was some mysterious being for the natural inhabitants.
Being unnatural, he could possibly disturb tye balance and natural order of this new world. Even if it was some magical world, being able to change worlds, he was bound to kind of abnormal. Clothes, look, knowledge and maybe even his magic. He read along time ago that grimoires where a kind of book where events are written. It was believed that grimoires hold magic. They have the power to bend natural forces in the world and histories tell that they differ. Even though there were some who believed that kind of pretext, no one could provide a concrete evidence.
After rolling down for a short time, Liam opened his eyes to look at the surrounding area but he could only see an outline of a person before fainting.
