Flames POV
"Oh." I had completely forgotten that day. "Let's not think about that now I think we should find that file on me and locate that cave it might lead to some clues."
"Ok, while you search your desk, I'll search the files still in the file cabinets." He took out a stack of files from the cabinet drawer and placed them on the side table before going back for more.
Morgana didn't care to keep the files organized and even some pages were missing from some of the files. This was going to take a while to sort through and organize. Just the thought of how much work I had ahead of me it was even worse than trying to run a kingdom.
"I found it!" Finally, after over an hour of silent searching and sorting files I finally found the file on me from the day I was found. Fang came over to sit next to me and look over the papers and sure enough we found the map that led to the cave along with pictures from inside the cave. Fang took the map to study along with some maps of the mountain area to try to pinpoint the caves' location. I was looking over the pictures when I noticed in the corner of one of the pictures there was something engraved into one of the rocks. It was too blurry to make out even with a magnifying lense but one thing was clear I needed to get to that cave.
"Fang, we have to go there."
"I agree." He spoke in a quiet voice full of mixed emotions. "But I want to have some guards check the area out first make sure it's safe till then let's stick a normal routine, ok?"
"I guess you're right. Oh, by the way while Ms. Edalyn was here, she handed me a few files on some kids that will be arriving here tomorrow morning. I will need to be here so you need to let the school know I will be running late." I told him as I handed him the files that she gave me. Inside was their files and their pictures with all the information about their past. I hadn't looked at them yet I was going to look them over in the morning. "There is a total of five kids. Three of them are siblings triblets I believe. Which reminds me I need to go feed some panther cubs later."
"No, I already had some food sent to them about three hours ago. You looked busy so I took care of it."
"Thank you, Fang."
"Don't mention it." he smiled "Besides they are one of us."
"Really?"
"Yep, though what happened to their mother still remains a mystery."
"Not really. She was killed by some hunters one night the same night you found me in the woods. She asked me to take care of her cubs before she died. I tried to bury her the best I could before the hunters could come and take her away."
"I figured as much I saw her grave before heading to the cave." He looked sad "The panther was a good guardian you appointed her yourself though why you have her guarding a cave is beyond me."
"Wait she was guarding just an empty cave and I made her do that? For what? Surely there was a reason behind it."
"Then how about tomorrow night we go check it out."
"Yeah."
"It's getting late how about getting some dinner then heading to bed for some sleep I bet you haven't even gone to see your new room."
"Alright." To be honest I was starting to get hungry and it was pretty late and I was expecting the authorities and the kids early in the morning.
