It was the next morning and Ku was hanging in the garden drinking tea, upside down in a tree.
"Ku, what are you doing, so early in the morning?" Yuki Asked.
"I'm drinking tea upside down in a tree this morning your highness," Ku replied as he sipped his tea.
"How?" Yuki questions.
"I'm magical your highness, that's all I can say," Ku replies.
"Your highness, Your highness!" A girl shouted.
"Oh, no it's Princess Ash. I better get going Ku, distract her for me." Yuki says.
"Yes, Your highness," Ku replied.
Yuki ran as Ku still in the same place as ever.
"Hey you? You know where his highness is?" Ash asks.
"Nope, Your highness. I have no idea. I'm just drinking my tea." Ku replies "Maybe you should go back I bet you he's on his way to your palace right now."
"Really?" Ash asks.
"Yep," Ku replied.
Ash ran back to her palace, in a quick hurry.
"Thanks, Ku, Your so smart," Yuki says.
"Just doing my job, Your highness," Ku replied.
Ash came back really mad seeing Yuki talking to the person hanging upside down in a tree drinking tea!
"Your highness! So you are here!" Ash Shouted.
"A-Ash, I mean Princess, I didn't know you were here, I apologize for this." Yuki Spoke.
"Hmm? Is she like your fiancé or something? Your highness." Ku asks.
"Yes, She is going to be my main wife, but that's many days from now, Ku," Yuki replies.
"I see." Ku Spoke "There's something that's bothering me though, how come the princess is taller than you, Your Highness?"
Yuki sighed, "It's not my fault she's like a giant."
"Giant? Not my fault your like an ant, tiny and weak all around!" Ash Shouted.
"That's just mean, Your Highness." Ku Spoke "Though your not much better your self, you would never defeat me."
"Defeat you? Easy? Your just a servant who hangs upside down on the tree." Ash Spoke.
"Well if you think so then fight me one on one," Ku replied.
Ku got off the tree and stood there then put his tea down on the table. Ash takes her spear and swings back and forth as he dodges.
"Your highness really stinks at this," Ku mutters.
"Ah! If you'd stop dodging and fight me! I would could win!!!" Ash Shouted.
Ku grabbed the spear and pulled it so she would hold on tight and he threw her with the spear as she fell and he stood in that same spot, sighing.
"Your really weak, next time don't get so angry try to stay calm, and try to use my strength against me."
Ku walks over to grab his tea, and sips some of it, noticed something strange about it.
"Hmm? It's more bitter than normal."
Meanwhile, in the building behind the garden, there's a servant standing there watching the scene.
"How is he not a weekend or better yet dead? It seems the effects won't last till much later? I'll report this to, the empress." She mutters softly to her self.
Back to them...
"Ku, is there something wrong with your tea?" Yuki Asked.
"Yes, something's off, it's more...bitter than normal, maybe I mixed the salt for sugar this morning," Ku replied.
"Ku, what time were you up this morning?" Yuki Asked.
"Ah! Oh four, your highness." Ku replied "Hmm? I think, the time difference is huge, normally when I get up it's 8 not four."
"I see, maybe you should go rest, I don't need you right now," Yuki replied.
"As You wish your highness," Ku says.
Ku walks to his chamber to sleep, sighs and thinks "This kid if I hadn't noticed he would have been dead this morning by the empress, indeed."
Ku was sleeping, as a servant snuck in with a knife, stabbed him in his ankle.
"Ouch, that hurt." Ku muttered "Now your dead."
Ku grabbed the servants and sliced his throat with the knife. As Yuki walked into the room to see, Ku with a bloody ankle and a servant who killed its self with the knife, used to try to kill him.
"Hi, Your highness." Ku replies.
"Ku, Your bleeding. Jeez, what happened?" Yuki asks.
"What you think happened." Ku replied.
"Never mind, get the cloth and have it tied to him while I'll call for the imperial physician." Yuki replies.
"Yes, Your highness." Replies a maid named nana.
Nana tied the cloth around Ku's ankle, "Your really lucky, His highness has never treated anyone ever this good."
"I don't think that, I'm just an ordinary person who happen to meet him by pure chance." Ku replied.
Nana was smiling on the outside, but on the inside, her heart only grew blacker. As she realized that he was in her way, to becoming the next empress. With the man she wishes to marry, rise from being a stupid servant.
