Lily finished reading the article and she wasn't expecting Daniel to break up with Elizabeth so soon. But, nonetheless, she was glad Daniel made the right choice whether he actually remembered her or not.
Lily went out and saw Brian crying. His eyes were swollen.
"Are you alright?" Lily asked him and used her sleeve to wipe away his tears. Brian liked Lily. He cried on her shoulder because he knew Lily liked Daniel more than him. Lily didn't know what was happening but she stood still and rubbed Brian's back.
"It's alright. Everything will be alright."
Brian calmed down and looked into Lily's brown eyes, "I'm sorry. Did I scare you?" Lily shook her head, "Are you sure you're alright?" Brian wiped away his tears and smiled, "Let's go back." Lily followed Brian until they head back to H&H.
After they got back, Brian went to calm himself down. Lily was worried if he was alright. She knocked on his door and went in. Even though Brian smiled, Lily knew he wasn't himself after coming back from the hospital. Lily sat beside him on the couch and gently hugged him, "Thank you for showing me the article. It was hard for you, right?" Brian hugged her tighter and nodded, "I should've came for you earlier." Lily didn't say a word but she listened to Brian whatever he has to say.
It was difficult for Lily to make the choice either to leave H&H Corporation or going back to Daniel. She doesn't want to leave Brian in the dark. She went back to Brian and had a talk with him.
"Brian, if I leave your company...would that be alright for you?" Lily asked Brian.
"It's alright. I just brought you here because I was afraid you were going to get hurt by Daniel. I'll be alright. If you are ready to go back, I'll take you there." Brian smiled. He will let Daniel have Lily. Brian promised to himself that he will be Lily's guardian angel. Brian will take back Lily if Daniel makes her cry again.
"Thank you, Brian. For everything you've done. Are we still working on HK Group together?" Brian nodded, "I'll do my part and you'll do yours."

Lily arrived at the HS Group planning to give Daniel a surprise. Brian and Lily arrived to the top floor and they were greeted by Jeffrey. Lily gave Jeffrey a signal not to call Daniel. He understood and let Lily go in. Lily looked at Brian and he smiled, "Go ahead." Lily nodded and went in.
Daniel fell asleep on the sofa and Lily took his books and papers off his chest. She placed a blanket for him making sure he doesn't wake up but suddenly she got pulled right onto his chest. Lily's heart was beating like crazy. Lily looked up and Daniel was awake.
"You... were awake?" Lily was speechless. Daniel smiled, "You came back, finally. I was waiting for you." Lily got out of his grasp and sat on the edge of the couch then Daniel also got up.
"You're not going anywhere." Daniel backhugged her on the couch.
"Daniel, stop it." Lily laughed.
"Is it because it's your first time with a guy?" Daniel teased her.
"You're the second guy." Lily replied. Daniel leaned close to her and whispered into her ears, "Who was it?" Lily got shivers when he whispered to her.
"It's someone from college. Don't worry. We already broke up. I heard he got married to Elizabeth." Lily replied. Daniel nodded, "Why did she want to get back together with me if she was already married."
"Divorced, maybe." Lily replied. Lily felt Daniel kissing on her neck. She felt the goosebumps all over her body.
"Daniel...I.." Lily wasn't ready mentally for this. It was coming way too fast.
"Daniel, stop! I'm not ready." Lily turned around and saw Daniel's firm chest. She turned around and pretended she saw nothing.
Daniel looked at her and Lily cannot keep her eyes off of him.
"Daniel, I'm not ready yet. Can you give me one second?" He nodded. Lily took a deep breath and calmed herself down. She needed to take this chance or else she will regret it. Lily won't let this go to waste.
Lily looked at Daniel and she replied yes. Lily started by touching Daniel's gunshot wound scar on the forehead then gently touch his face. Down to the neck and she carefully took off his shirt. Lily saw the scars on his body. Her heart hurts. The wounds his first lover gave.
"Does it still hurt?" She whispered. Daniel shook his head, "But my head still hurts sometimes." Lily kissed on his forehead. Daniel looked at her deeply and Lily embraced him. He kissed on her neck, her smooth skin made Daniel more obsessed than ever and Lily's breathing got faster. Daniel and Lily looked deeper into each other's eyes then they kissed. Slowly at first, Lily felt Daniel's hand under her shirt. She felt tingling all over her body and he carefully caressed her body until she gave out a slight moan. His kisses were so deep and it made Lily's body more sensitive to his touches.
After a while, Daniel stopped, "We can do more later on." Daniel kissed on her lips. Lily kissed him back. He was glad that Lily came back for him. Since she wasn't his physician anymore, Daniel was happy that he can finally have her.
"Lily." Daniel whispered, "Be my assistant and physician in secret." Lily looked at him in shock, "I cannot be with you if I'm a physician for you..." Daniel smiled, "Our contract is over. If you be my assistant, it will be better. Doesn't hurt to have two assistants." Lily smiled and nodded, "I will."
