When Daniel was off work, he picked up Lily from the hospital. He agreed to let her work there part time and helping with office work during her day offs. Lily was not only a physician treating people but was also HS Group assistant to the President. Even though her contract was over, she was still a "doctor" to him. Now, she was an official employee... no one will judge who will she date.
It was nice to be back in Daniel's apartment building, Leanna greeted Lily with a big hug, "Welcome back! I missed you!" Lily hugged back, "I missed you, too." Ray and Jeffrey were clapping and both welcomed them back.
"Good job, Boss." Jeffrey smiled, "You finally got her back." Daniel looked at him but he didn't say anything.
"Jeffrey, your face...." Lily laughed as she cleaned up some flour on his face. Jeffrey laughed, "I was helping May with baking, oops." Ray patted him, "No wonder Daniel didn't say anything."
May came out of the kitchen and scowled the two guys, "I thought you were helping me with baking. Why are you still standing there? Lily just got back and haven't washed up yet. Let her be and come here or else I'll hit you with my broomstick." Jeffrey and Ray hurried back like two kids getting in trouble.
Leanna and Lily looked at each other and pretended not the laugh. Leanna helped Lily by taking her stuff back into her room, "It's so nice having you back. When you were not here, my brother barely slept and kept on working. I was worried every time he came back, he didn't talk to anyone besides saying few words to Jeffrey and Ray. He kept a lot of things to himself and he usually doesn't share office work with me. Lily, since you guys got back together... please take care of him." Lily nodded as she unpacked her clothes.
After having a warm shower, Lily went back to her room and dried up her hair. It has been a long time since she felt this relaxed. She was about to go out when Daniel hugged her from behind. Lily smiled and played with his fluffy hair.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"I still can't believe you're back." Daniel whispered to her.
"I'm back." Lily held his hands which were wrapped around her. Daniel stood still and closed his eyes.
"Daniel, did you actually remembered your past?" Lily asked. Daniel shook his head, "Not yet. Just bit by bit but I know Elizabeth isn't a person to be trusted. That's why I broke up with her. I only wanted to use her from the beginning. I have no feelings for her. My heart only beats for you."
Lily turned around and looked at Daniel in the eyes, "Daniel, I'm sorry for the way I treated you. I was jealous because you were always with Elizabeth. I knew you guys were past lover. I was afraid you will go back with her." Lily looked down but Daniel embraced her, "Lily, I'm already yours." Lily nodded and smiled. Daniel released her and they looked at each other in the eyes. Lily could feel her body heating up. Daniel gently touched her lips and leaned forward.
"Daniel, it's almost dinner---." Daniel did not care at all, he locked his lips around her. Lily closed her eyes and embraced him.
"Daniel, slow down." Daniel looked at her, his firm, bare chest was showing again. Lily's face blushed and suddenly felt nervous. Daniel was on top of her while Lily was laying on bed.
"What's wrong?" He asked. Lily shook her head, "Nothing." Daniel looked at her and kissed her on the forehead.
"Don't be scared. I already told them we are eating dinner late." Daniel whispered and kissed her neck and then lips. Daniel caressed her body gently and Lily's breathing got faster and she moaned with pleasure. Lily never knew it felt so good, to be with the man she loved and to be able to share his pain together.

It was after few weeks when Daniel received news about Ken of HK Groups. He was a fugitive in Vietnam and he was on the run. Daniel asked his people to track Ken down. Brian and Daniel were working together and sharing information on how to catch Ken and bring HK Group to justice. Ken must've known someone leaked their illegal activities and he was afraid to be caught as a murderer.
Rachel and Lily plus few other people from HS were working together as well and they were responsible for finding out who was the person who leaked the information. That person must've known something that others don't. Whoever it was, they hoped to find that person.
