"I'll cut straight to the point Wraith." The Dark Duke said. "Just give it back and they will forget all about it."
Wraith scrunched up his noise in disgust. "It."
The Duke pointed a finger at Wraith. "You think me a traitor, don't you?" He ran his hand through his hair and looked towards Wraith's car. "They allowed me to talk to you. To send a message, just give it back and they will forget all about it."
Ash walked quickly towards the military helicopter. The pilot walked beside her. "Ms Ash there's a storm coming in off the Irish Sea, so we may be a few minutes late."
Ash stopped in her tracks. "There is a small revolver in my hand bag do you wish me to take it out and threaten you with it. There is no "may be" do you understand."
"We'll be there on time Ms Ash." The pilot corrected.
"Don't you understand these people don't have power; they are power." The Duke said. "Look, just wait here and they'll come and take it and drive away. That's it."
Wraith called to Lomax. "Fill up the tank we're leaving."
Lomax drove slowly forward towards the petrol station. "What about him?" she asked.
Wraith looked towards the Duke. "It." he said in a loud voice. "Is just a very complex projection spell." He ran his hand through the Duke that made him quiver like he was made out of water.
"Will you just listen for a moment Wraith?" The Duke pleaded. But Wraith simply walked away and paid for the petrol.
Estron all the time had watched Wraith through the window while rubbing his finger and thumb together.
Wraith jumped back into the car, they were ready to go. "Where to Estron?" He asked.
Estron leaned forward and pointed between two black mountains, as he did lightning cracked across the sky.
Hex jumped up and gave a bark. Estron smoothed his back and said. "Don't be scared." Hex went to move away but thought who was he to judge who could be kind and who could not. After a minute or so he jumped on to Estron's lap an let him scratch his belly.
The Dark Duke watched as they drove away and thought: "the bloody fools, she'll kill them all".
