Trillions of years after the grand battle between the Immortal Villain and the Hexagon Powers of Ice and Fire — the five major powers of the Divine World that joined forces with the Sect of Ice and Fire — a slumbering will that had been shooting across the various worlds of the Divine, Immortal and Mortal Domains, crashed onto the recently deceased corpse of yet another Hong Tian.
Hong Tian knew before he started his voyage, that travelling through the void with just the power of his will would take an eternity, and he was not known for his patience. Thus, for the overwhelming majority of the time he flew as a dead will, his consciousness had been slumbering in what seemed to be an eternal hibernation.
He had left his reincarnation up to fate, as it would be better than wasting away the years in search of the best vessel. But, fate had sorely disappointed him as his reincarnation started off on a sour note. The good news was that his new self had the same name and appearance as his past life; well, before he had become a devilishly handsome supreme god, of course. But that was were fate stopped its magic.
What made up the rest of his new self that left him wishing for death just to get another chance at reincarnating. 'What's with this rubbish body? Why is my dwelling that of a peasant? Why is there not a speck of energy coursing through my body? …Fuck!' It seems he had received some memory fragments that belonged to the previous owner of his body.
"This fucking trash Hong Tian! If you weren't dead I'd kill you myself… FUCK!" Hong Tian was cursing and rambling with enough hatred and killing intent emanating out of his body to drown out the lively and warm atmosphere for miles to come. He had just learned of the pitiful backstory of his body's previous owner but all he cared about was how it impacted him.
The previous Hong Tian was the son of a legendary patriarch, the greatest master of the Splitting Wind Sect, but because of his terribly mediocre talents for practicing wind-style cultivation arts, he had been labeled a bastard and cast away from his clan. His worthless foundation crippled — just to spite him, as it wouldn't effect him with his "shit" talent, anyway. And just recently, like less than an hour ago, he had been poisoned and left to die, presumably out of jealousy for the one thing that mattered to the previous Hong Tian; his relationship with a member of the branch clan's young miss, Hong Yue.
"This fucking worthless trash got what he deserved! Che!" Hong Tian angrily stormed out of his room and headed downstairs. Along with some memories of the previous Hong Tian, the Immortal Villain also learned of where he was. At the moment, he was in the house he shared with Hong Yue; precisely the same woman that got him poisoned! There, they lived alongside some of his remote family members which were too stupid, untalented, or just distant to get accepted by the main branch of the clan.
Hong Yue was his maid, and also the last token of solace his father gave him before banishing to the branch sect. She was of mortal background and trained to be a competent maid before she was assigned to live with Hong Tian. But, her beauty, while not at the level of the goddesses and demonesses Hong Tian had surrounded himself with in his previous life, was still well above average. Had it not been for Hong Tian being in the picture, with her having to faithfully serve him full time as a personal maid, Hong Yue would easily find herself surrounded by hordes of suitors within the branch clan.
In fact, the reason Hong Tian believed in the theory that he had been poisoned because of her was because he learned of one specific person that plagued the previous Hong Tian. An "idiot" by the name of Hong Wu had come time and time again to try stealing Hong Yue from Hong Tian's hands, and that previous "trash" had told her she could leave whenever she wanted. But, his loyal maid would not budge no matter what that "flattering trash" Hong Wu used when he tried to sway her. Apparently, he had gotten cocky after getting away with the increasingly harsh bullying sessions, that he figured no one would mind seeing Hong Tian mysteriously pass away.
Hong Tian threw away the thoughts that distracted him from his current task and quickly made his way to the kitchen area. There he took a knife with him as well as several bowls, before making his way back to his room. That poison that killed the previous trash was still coursing through his veins, so he had to rid himself of it before he died again.
Thus, after making his primitive preparations, Hong Tian didn't hesitate to ruthlessly cut away a deep gouging wound onto his arm. It was a bit annoying, not having any Qi to help him manage the pain of self mutilation, but he had gone through it all and a "small" wound such as the one he had created would not stop him.
Hong Tian might have just recently reincarnated, with no Qi available to help him at the moment. He might have spent the last couple trillion years sleeping with not a moment of practice, with a new body and hardly any control. But if there was something that he still carried with him through his plight, it was his understanding of the Dao as well as his own personal set of cultivated Daos.
His Blood Dao in particular was so profound, even without any Qi, he could still effortlessly drive the blood within his body with absolute perfection. It was rare that he wasn't using his Blood Dao to wipe out and consume others, and was instead using the rarely seen positive aspects of blood to heal himself; alas, dark times called for extreme measures.
Hong Tian willed for his blood to flow normally within his body, but all the foreign elements that circulated past the wound on his arm would drip out and create a black pool into the bowels he had prepared. Given his lack of cultivation and Qi, Hong Tian could only grit his teeth as the time passed and the black blood kept spilling out of his body at a snail's pace. As the time passed, the anger that originally focused primarily on the previous Hong Tian for giving him such a terrible start transferred over to Hong Wu, as he still believed him to be the culprit.
His anger shifted focus due to the sheer volume of poison he had extracted from his body. Before starting, Hong Tian prepared several bowls to catch the corrupted blood, but he never expected for six of the seven bowls to be filled to the brim with deadly Shivertoxin Essence. Internally, he cursed, 'What was that retard thinking? Was he poisoning one trash or an army of ten thousand?! Why do I have to deal with this much bullshit?!'
As he was consumed by the nigh-infinite hatred, spawned from this unbearably bad restart to his life, Hong Tian nearly let someone sneak behind him. Of course, even as a peasant mortal with not a trace of cultivation, his senses as an Immortal Villain with hundreds of years worth of experience hadn't slipped.
"Show yourself," he whipped his head to face the door, peering malevolently as if he was confronting Geng Xin himself.
Startled, especially so because she was confronted with the killing intent of a once-supreme god, Hong Yue stuttered, "Y-y-young M-master?" She slowly made her appearance visible to Hong Tian and though he had retracted his killing intent after knowing it was her, she was still shaken to her very core.
"Oh?" Getting a good look at what was now his personal maid, Hong Tian raised a brow. 'The trash owner of this body's memories don't do her appearance justice.' He thought to himself as he shamelessly looked her up and down as if he were appraising goods rather than meeting someone.
'Actually… Getting some 'relief' right now would- Ack!' Before he could even finish that immoral thought, a soul-rending pain caused him to pale. His focus broke and with his Blood Dao interrupted, the large wound on his arm started bleeding over.
"Young Master!" Despite still being slightly apprehensive over Hong Tian's odd behavior, Hong Yue instantly ran over to his side to help him up. Completely oblivious to the lustful thoughts he had towards her, she used the clothes she had been carrying as a tourniquet to stop or at least suppress Hong Tian from bleeding out.
Waving her away, Hong Tian quickly controlled his blood after the pain subsided merely using the clothes Hong Yue offered to wipe his arm clean. Ignoring her if only for a moment, a deep frown manifested on his face.
'What the hell was that?!' A quick self evaluation later, Hong Tian's frown morphed into horror; it was an expression rarely seen even in his past life.
"My own curse..." He didn't even bother concealing his thoughts, as he mumbled out loud. "What… What have you done!" He looked at the sky through the window of his room and if one didn't know better, they would assume he had gone mad. At the moment, he had only assured himself that he had been cursed. That much wasn't important as his Curse Dao would easily be able to resolve any curse he made himself. However, within the curse he had detected in his soul, he found the aura of that detestable Geng Xin; clinging onto him through the river of time, like a cock-roach.
