Wednesday Morning
Kody's POV
Today was the same routine. Get up at 6 o'clock, get clothes and on, and head through the woods with Lumine to get to school.
In the meantime, Lumine was listening to his music on his phone while we were walking to school and I tapped him on his shoulder to get to take out one of his earbuds. "What song you listening to today? I could literally hear it through your earbuds." "You remember that show that the song we're practicing is from right? It's also from the same show, but a different character." Said Lumine. He then told me that the song was called Shine. "You want to share one of my earbuds and listen for yourself?" Asked Lumine. I said sure and then we both listen to the song on the way to school.

That part of the song stays with me through the rest of our school day. I couldn't even get out my head because the song was so catchy. Now that I think about it, my day was so much better ever since listened to the song. I mean I was happier, I was socializing with my class, and I even had a ball in PE playing volleyball today. I had a totally awesome day. Even Lumine was impressed!!
At Home
Lumine's POV
Luckily for Kody, he didn't have any homework today, but boy did he stink by the time got back! Once made our way inside, Kody made his was up stairs to take him a well needed shower. I will tell you this much, volleyball can work up a sweat!
After about ten minutes, Kody made his way down stairs so we could finally practice the song. "If this goes well, what do think about performing at the annual school program at the end of next month?" Asked Kody. "If it's next month, that would give us enough time to pick a song right?" I asked. He said that the teachers would set out a list of songs to pick from and then they would hold a rehearsal until the day of the program. He also had gotten the list today and he saw my favorite song was on the list! OMG!! I was ecstatic. "Okay, let's blow this performance out of the water for the others and then let's knock your school's socks off!"
