"Great! You're here."
Camellia just entered the bedroom looking surprised at her husband when he handed her a piece of paper with a huge heading 'Marital Contract' on it. "Read and sign it."
He was standing there with only wearing a bathrobe. Her heart was throbbing hard at the sight of his hair damp and refresh appearances. His masculine scent so unfamiliar to her only made her anxious and nervous at the same time. Camellia was ready to escape from the room, but she must have the promised explanation from this man.
"What are you doing?" Camellia asked as she took the paper in question while scanning the content of the document as she walks towards the huge canopy bed. She about to argue their sleeping arrangement but everything happened like a simple click and Shuu already on top of her on the bed looking straight into her eyes. She was puzzled beyond words but continue staring at his eyes too. She never properly see her husband eyes as close as this. Something black thing like a mole on his right eyeball makes her squint to confirm her finding. It is a black mole inside his eyeball!
"Are you so eager to consummate our wedding tonight, huh?" Shuu smirked above her, still holding her down. He happened to be standing closed to her when she slipped but not fast enough to grasp her before both of they collided down to the soft bed.
"You're wrong. Let me go! We don't even know each other yet," Camellia pushes him away with blushes on her cheeks to her ears and tries to stand independently, but a sharp pain on her ankle surprised her to tears made her fall back to the bed. "It was the heel that made me falls. It got stuck on the mat." Camellia tries to force herself to move, but the pain won't permit any movement at all. "I think I'd sprain my ankle." Camellia showed him a pity face.
Shuu heaved an annoying sigh moves away from the bed and kneel in front of her. "Be gentle, please. It hurts so much." she pleads with tears in her eyes. Shuu walks out of the room without any words.
A momentary later he re-appear with a white box and a basin full of ice brought by one of the servants into the room. Shuu already started to work on removing her high heels before soothing out her injured ankle. Camellia hissing in pain, reflexing pulling her ankle away.
"Don't move," Shuu warned as a slight touch on her now turned swollen ankle pains her more.
"But it's painful," Camellia complained, bit her lip. "Be gentle, please." There was no answer yet Shuu applied the cream onto her swollen ankle tenderly and gave a light pressure to it.
Camellia can really feel the cooling effect of the medicine. Shuu suddenly stands before her and looking around the room before he settled on the sitting area near the window. Before she can ask what he was doing, Shuu already lifted her in princess style headed to the lounge chair not far from the window. Shuu shushed her when she wants to argue with him made her body blushes in silent. She still can sniff out the after shower smell from him makes her want to sniff deeply at this familiar smell. It was a smell of peppermint!
"Hmm, are you finished, little puppy?"
"Oh, sorry," Camellia looks away in a bashful way. He knew she was sniffing at his neck like a dog. But, he doesn't show any detest on her behaviour which relieved her nerves down. "I can't help it. You smell so good and deliciously fresh." Shuu put her down carefully on the lounge chair and went to retrieve the ice pack basin before placing it on the floor. He tenderly lifted her ankle and soaked it on the ice. Camellia stares at his gentle hand, splashing the cold water onto the injured area and his handsome chisel face showed a soft expression makes her wonder why this guy ended up with this kind of fraud marriage.
She becomes aware of the now-scrambled paper on her left hand. The whole time started to unscramble it and saw his name on it. 'SHUUSEI TACHIBANA'. So her husband name is Shuusei. She took a peek at him before getting back at the paper. " '#1 WILL ATTEND TO HIS OR HER EVERY SOCIAL NEED IF REQUIRED TO DO SO' " No problem, I can do that. Camellia nodded to herself. " '#2 NOT TO BOTHER EACH OTHER PERSONAL LIFE' " Alright. Fair enough, considering that I'm not familiar with him yet. I, myself, dislike any strangers poking their nose unwantedly." She nodded again and continue reading. " '#3 CUCKOLDRY WILL NOT BE TOLERATABLE' "What is this B*****t? This is madness! The soothing feeling that she had just now disappeared like the wind blow.
"Enough!" Camellia pulls her foot away from the soaking ice treatment knocking him backwards and landed on his bottom first with a surprised look on his face. Camellia continued, "Are you kidding me? This is more like an insult! This is obviously without merit. And listen to this one " '#4 NOT ALLOWED TO SLEEP OUTSIDE EXCEPT WITH HUSBAND'S PRESENT OR PERMISSION' What am I? I will rather be your daughter than accepting these terms." Camellia gritting her teeth in annoyance. Shuu was watching her the whole time to find her raging way rather cute and funny with her redden ears. He coughs out his laughter and hides his laughter. Her heavy chest raises up and down dissatisfied with his answer.
"I see, maybe I should make some changes to the curfew time too?" Shuu mocked as he stands up. He finally gets what caused her to gone berserk and kicks him off guard.
"I see that you're making this up rather enjoyable, huh. I rather you annulled the wedding now." Her annoyance has just heated up, and she won't feel any satisfaction if she can't do anything. Camellia reaches anything within her range and throws it at him. Nothing hit the target until she grasps the last thing and aims it to him. It hit the target. "Arggh! You supposed to avoid it!" Camellia felt herself shrieking in fear at his darken expression after the thing she thrown hit his forehead, and it begins to bleed.
"Are you satisfied now? It just rules. If you are faithful to me, there is nothing to lose, right." Shuu snapped. Shuu walk away leaving her behind with his bleeding forehead. Camellia feels like crying now.
The end of the lists stated only adding to her frustration makes her wanna laugh or cry at her own demise. '*DISOBEY ANY OF THE LISTED ABOVE WILL RESULT IN SEVERE PUNISHMENT', 'MARRIAGE ANNULMENT AFTER ONE YEAR CONTRACT MARRIAGE WILL BE CONSIDERED ONLY IF MUTUAL AGREEMENT ACHIEVED.' All of a sudden, the feeling of sadness engulfed her and irritation at the realisation he doesn't really mean what he said at the groom's speech today.
