"You're back."
The door closed. Camellia had come back and about to head towards the stairway when a familiar voice echoes reached her. She halted and turned around to the source of the voice without lifted her head. "Hmmm."
Shuusei still standing on the doorway of the kitchen watching her. His silent had her curious and looked up to see that he was still in his working attire. "TINGG!" a bell rang, and Shuusei gets back inside the kitchen. Then a warm, sweet and inviting smell reached her nostril makes her mouth watery. The noises from the kitchen adding more to her curiosity. The nearby wall clock already strikes eleven o'clock night. Camellia put down her handbag and heading towards the kitchen.
"Please come in," Shuusei invited her into the kitchen as he was busily moving around to do his work. Camellia stared at the warm buns on the cooling trays and swallowed her saliva. "Have you eat your dinner tonight?" Shuusei smiled at her antics. Camellia shook her head.
"But, I am not that hungry," Camellia standing on the doorway with her arms crossed. "I'm tired. I shall leave you with your work then."
"Come down after you're done with your bath, please." Shuusei ignored her comment. Camellia about to reject his request. "I'll make you something good." She halted at his next words. The first thing that occurs to her mind was the food at the evening party. Camellia abruptly leaves the kitchen. She was already on the second step of the stairway when she feels a tug on her elbow makes her stop. Shuusei was there standing beside her with a bunch of freshly baked spring onion buns in a wide weaved Rotan basket lined with baking cloths. She eyed-widen at the sight of the food being shoved to her. "Take it and eat it as a snack."
She shoved back the basket back to him. "I'm not that hungry."
"You're welcome." Shuusei already leaves as soon as she had the basket with her without even listening to her. She was helpless at his relentless. He went back into the kitchen, leaving the confused Camellia standing on the stairway. She looks around for any watching eyes before cautiously lifted the basket for a little sniff. 'Ah, the smells... Heaven!' The grumbling of her tummy agreed with her. Camellia smiled delightedly as she ascended the stairs.
Camellia finished taking her bath feeling refresh and full. The clock on the bed stand already strikes twelve at midnight. She wonders if her husband already in his room. Or are they going to share the same room? She has never been in the same room with her husband after the night he asked her to sign the marriage agreement contract or whatever they called it. The other nights he runs out whenever he received a phone call. The next morning, he already in his working attire, looking busily in the kitchen doing his food research. There were sometimes several new people appeared in the kitchen seemed to be his workers.
Since her disappearance two weeks ago, she aware the rest of the in-house maids has been reduced to only a few people which makes the house somehow empty. The butler still around but his old nanny was no way to be found.
Weird as she might think, but she doesn't know their way of handling their staff. Camellia decided to turn in for the night. Tomorrow will be Saturday, and there will be even a busy day for her as a Wedding Planner.
Less did she knows that as soon as she falls asleep, Shuusei gets into the room. He takes his bath and gets into the bed beside his wife. As always, Camellia never missed to turned to his husband side and snuggled up with her husband. At first, Shuusei was surprised with her behaviour on the first night of their wedding night. He doesn't dislike it but now rather familiar and comfortable. Strangely, she never acts like she knew what happened the night before or maybe because she was the hell of an actress trying to seduce him on the bed. Perhaps she is trying hard to be the real Mrs Tachibana, but before she did, Shuusei already wakes up earlier.
Until one day, she never returns home and were sleeping at her office. Shuusei suspected that those rumours from the tabloids might be caused it, but that was not the less of his worries. He seemed to hear about their wedding gowns designer is a guy. Why should he care about her in the first place?
He has to make hasty to find that girl. Maybe she still there waiting for him. Or maybe she already forgot him and their promises. Somehow he still believes that the little princess is out there somewhere. Where is she and what is she doing right now? Has she forgotten about him? Or has she married and have a couple of children? Shuusei shook his mind off from those negative speculations. 'My little Tsubaki'. He refused to believe that the little girl that he met will dare to throw away the medallion that he strongly wants her to keepsake. Now he came to meet that new owner of the medalion; it wouldn't be easy to get it from her. He never has any good feelings for her. Her story was very peculiar that might not meet the eye.
He recalled his last conversations with Shadow.
"Shadow, any progress on Ally's whereabouts so far?"
"I apologies, Master. It's nothing to report." Shadow appeared beside the bed, kneeled. "I am sure Ally Sama is now in Japan. No specific details on the location."
Shuusei heaved a disappointed sigh. "How about Hana? Any movement from her yet?"
"I'm sorry," Shadow bowed deeper, avoiding his master raging. "No. Master."
"Damn it!"
