Chapter 16 - Chapter 13: Recruitment

Tavern

_____

"Cheers!"

A cheer between a young man and a bold old man was well, quite weird. Although it doesn't deny the fact that it is still a celebration.

It was obviously Emyrs and Garen who was drinking beer and celebrating after updating their adventurers' card, by the way Alice was sipping a mug(no glass, just wood) of juice.

Garen: So Emyrs, seeing you are new here have you ever heard about the dungeons before? It is the paradise for money making. However, only high risk comes high return right? Dungeons are very dangerous because monsters are crammed into a small floor, that is why you need to be careful not to be cornered or else (pause, does a slicing motion on his neck) your dead-

Emyrs: (smiled) I'm interested in it.

Garen: HAHA, everyone is interested in it, it's a good source money after all.

Emyrs: (leaned closer) Tell me more about it.

Garen: (explained) You see, dungeons are really special... It's going to be a long one...(Author:  !!! NANI?!!)

Garen started to explain in a really boring way, he added things like his personal life to the explanation, no, he basically talked about this entire life experience from the moment he was born to the present. Emyrs was already asleep when he finished! (Just get to the point old man!)

Here is a quick summary of the common laws of dungeons!

____________________________

Dungeons are a network of many floor that contains different monsters on different floors.

The monsters in the dungeons can respawn given enough time unlike their cousin outside of dungeons that uses reproduction to keep their race going.

Monsters in the dungeons when killed vanishes and drops loot. The loot that the monster drops correspond to what loot and the fixed chance that the monster could drop (including luck on stats).

Every 10 floors there are a boss level.

Monsters would disappear if they are not on the floor they are meant to be in.

The dungeon walls can't be destroyed or harmed in anyway and anything that is not a drop from the monster can't be taken out of the floor itself or it would vanish.

Emyrs: (just woken up, carrying the still asleep Alice in a princess carry) Well then, see you later! Bye!

Garen: -and that is how I got a divorce with my wife. Eh? (looking around, confused) Where did they go?

Adventure's guild

______________

Emyrs walked into the "adventure's guild" dragging the just woken up Alice, who was latching onto Emyrs' arm. That was definitely attracting the attention of a lot of old perverts out there.

Eva: (politely) How may I help you sir?

Emyrs: I would like to dive in a dungeon, do you have any dungeons to recommend?

Eva: I would recommend you to explore the "Bacon" dungeon, it is a C rank dungeon. However you would need a team of 4 to dive into any dungeon.

Emyrs: (speechless) What the heck is wrong with that name... Then there is a problem... How are we supposed to get more team members?

Eva: You could recruit for more members at the recruitment board beside the notice board. (handed over a sheet of paper)

Emyrs filled up the form.

Recruitment

__________

Race: Any

Level: 30 ~ 60

Rank: C ~ A

Class: Any

Occupation: Any

__________

Classes are different from occupation. Classes basically gives others an overview of what kind of common weapon, abilities and armor you use. For example: wizard, a mage that uses a staff to support them in area of effect magic, they wear a robe and has horrible mobility; thus, needs a shield class to tank damage for them for maximum effect.

On the other hand, occupation tells others what jobs and ability you specializes in. For example: Ice wizard, it tells others that you specializes in ice magic, you can freeze enemies and you are good against fire element monsters; thus, you are more likely to be chose to a team who wants to deal with a fire element monsters, especially bosses.

After placing 2 of this forms up in the recruitment board, they went back to the tavern to relax.

And now...

the waiting game...
