Taylor rushed past the school gate so she could make it to class before the first class was over. It had become a habit of being late,she had been punished several times but after looking into the situation and seeing it wasn't the poor girl's fault and there was absolutely nothing they could do about it, the school authorities let her be.
Taylor Olsen was a very poor but beautiful girl. She had very fine features which were mostly hidden under oversize cheap dresses, glasses and summarily, lack of care. Taylor had been abandoned many years ago by her father, right after her mother's death.
Her mother died giving birth to Coco,her little sister who she loved with all her heart and soul. Her father had never really cared for them even when their mother was alive.
At a tender age of six, she had grown hating her father who threw slaps and punches at their mother at every little mistake.
It was clear their father, Evan had never loved their mother. He always said marrying their mother was the biggest mistake of his life and that he only married her because of the fact that she was pregnant with Taylor during their relationship.
Her mother had also known he had an affair and bore everything quietly. While her mother had been heavily pregnant with Coco,Evan had hit her and she had gone into premature labour.
Birthing Coco was hard for Miranda, the doctor said she couldn't survive because she had severe internal bleeding. It had been a miracle that Coco was healthy.
Before Miranda died, she had called Taylor and told her to be strong no matter what and do her best to protect Coco. Taylor could still remember it like it was yesterday as it always brought tears to her eyes.
