"Kent, you have been staring at the poster for a while now. The person in there will not going to come out if you just stare at it."
"I know but that person has no shred of magic power. The face is similar but the temperament and attitude are different. A camouflage?"
"Or lose having memory loss after that fight?"
"Mmmm, I will keep monitoring. I have hunted for five years now. All my precious time will only be compensated after that person head become my trophy."
At the orphanage.
People are busying themselves at the orphanage, the kitchen is producing a salivating odour and a few children stand in front of the kitchen with watering mouth.
"Children don't stand there, go take a shower and make sure to brush your teeth or no breakfast for you." said the cook.
"We don't want breakfast, we want cake," said Mimi
"Yeah, cake! cake!" the other children also shouting.
Those children starting riots to demand the cake for breakfast. The cook is helpless, the others are just laughing so hard.
"What are you doing here? Making so much noise in the morning?" an angry voice is heard.
"Whaaa! run!" the children start running upstairs after seeing Mr Ray Ramon.
The party will be started in the evening and all the preparation has been done. Mikayla has additional magic class with Mr Jack today and finish in the afternoon. After finished his lesson he goes shopping for some present. During his stay at the orphanage, all the seven seniors are kind and was like a brother to him and all younger children. Mikayla strolling at the street to find a suitable present for the seniors.
Mikayla sees Teacher Rachel coming out of the clinic.
"Teacher Rachel, doing checkup for the baby?"
"Yes"
"What did the doctor say? Is there any problem?"
"There are no problem just a little surprise. At first, I don't believe what you said yesterday. Since the little ones have Wings so I think I need to get clean with my husband. Maybe I take out the black part."
"That is great then. I hope you and your baby are healthy"
While talking with Teacher Rachel, Mikayla notices that there is man been following them. He feels something is different about that man. His aura is strong and his eyes are fixated to Teacher Rachel.
Teacher Rachel call the carriage and goes home. That man suddenly vanish. Wow! something is not right.
("Where is the man? He was here just now. Did Teacher Rachel secret has been discovered. Impossible, nobody knows about this.")
Mikayla is worry about Teacher Rachel, he is not someone that did not know anything like before. He knows that black Wings are being categorised as The Fallen and it also means a madman, crazy and a criminal. Did The Knight found out about Teacher Rachel?
"Uncle, drive faster...faster."
"Be patient kid. I have rules to follow." said the carriage driver.
Mikayla arrives at Teacher Rachel house. At that time, Teacher Rachel is sitting in the balcony of her house.
"Teacher Rachel!"
"Oh! Mikayla, what are you doing here?"
Mikayla sit beside Teacher Rachel and drink the tea on the table. Teacher Rachel is baffle with his behaviour. Mikayla then grab the cookies and eat it while monitoring the surrounding. He can see a faint aura at the alley across the road in front of Teacher Rachel house. He did not see the man but based on the aura it is the same man from before. He already learn how to differentiate aura based on the individual. An aura is like a fingerprint of the people. That man managed to hide his body and minimalise his aura, other people may not notice him but not Mikayla. As long someone is using magic power, no one can hide from him.
"Teacher Rachel it is windy out here. You might catch a cold. Let us go into the house." Mikayla grab Teacher Rachel hand and take her into the house and close the door.
"What are you doing Mikayla? The cookies and tea are still outside."
"Teacher Rachel, I saw someone is following you. He is outside right now." Mikayla is whispering to Teacher Rachel.
"What did you say? Someone is..." Teacher Rachel go near the windows take a peek outside. She did not see anyone.
"That person is hiding at the alley and using some magic to hide himself."
"Which alley?"
"The alley in front of your house."
Teacher Rachel take a peek once again but still could see nothing. She then enters her room and takes out a crystal ball with a wooden box as the base. Then, she opens the wooden box and there is a keyboard. What! Mikayla is the one that baffles this time. He knows there is a computer and laptops in this world but a crystal ball as a computer, it still shocked him. The 3D effect is so awesome.
Teacher Rachel turn on the crystal ball and the layout of the neighbourhood can be seen. She types a few codes and a man silhouette can be seen in the crystal ball. The man silhouette is getting clearer and Teacher Rachel took a cold breath.
"Kent Maroon, a hunter."
"Hunter? What hunter?"
"Kent is a bounty hunter."
"Teacher Rachel, you have a bounty on you!?"
"Yes, after I ran away from home, I was involved in many illegals things until five years ago."
"Wow! What did you do?"
"Well, I was a pirate crew, in an operation five years ago I meet Kent and we battle each other. Both of us heavily injured and I was stranded ashore to my master house. My master hides me and give me a new identity."
"It is incredible! A pirate. Looking now you don't really look like a pirate."
"Smack" Teacher Rachel give a hand chop at Mikayla head.
"Ouch! It's hurt. Teacher, I'm just joking."
"Still don't look like a pirate." Teacher Rachel standing while folding her arm together.
With that big belly, it is impossible to have any resemblance with a pirate. She looks cute than a fierce pirate.
"So, what should we do now Teacher Rachel?"
"We do nothing. You said that he just following me then he is monitoring me. There is an unspoken rule for pirate at our shore. A dead pirate should stay dead."
"He will not catch you?"
"It depends whether he determines I am dangerous or not."
Teacher Rachel opens the door and stares at the alley where Kent Maroon stands. Kent Maroon seems to know that he already being discovered and walks towards the house.
"Have a sit Kent. Welcome to my humble house."
"Nice to meet you Casandra."
Kent Maroon enters the house and make himself comfortable. Mikayla is dumbfounded. How could they just greet each other like that. Did I just waste all my worries? Teacher Rachel even serve tea and cookies for her unexpected guest.
"Five years isn't it? Time sure flies."
"Yeah, glad that you are still alive. I thought that the gun has pierced your heart that night."
"Oh! It pierces my heart indeed but I am one lucky guy."
"Hahahahah, I wish that you just die that night."
"I also want you to die. The world will be in peace once you are gone."
The conversation turns a bit out of track. Mikayla is praying that they will not start fighting.
"Cough...cough. Teacher Rachel I think we should stay on the main focus."
"Oh! Who is this little guy? It was you that found me, hmmm."
Mikayla moves behind Teacher Rachel chair making his teacher as a shield. ("Teacher Rachel, now you look like a pirate. Please protect me")
"Don't involve the boy in this matter. Speak what did you want, I didn't believe you come to capture me."
"Your guessing is correct. I didn't come here to capture you. I was on a different mission but stumble into you. So, I just want to check out a long lost friend."
"Friend! As if."
"It is great that you have a good life now. As long as you behave accordingly, a dead pirate will stay dead."
"The dead will stay dead. You don't have to worry."
"I should be going now, live well Rachel Summer."
Kent Maroon leave the house and disappear into the small alley.
"I really hope you can live well Casandra," sigh Kent.
