The Knight begins their second chanting, and the magic power on the surrounding is thickening until it can be seen with naked eyes. Kent Maroon face is paled greatly, he knows that the formation is strong but he still underestimate it. The second attack is on the way and he worries that he is unable to protect his companion. Teacher Rachel condition is getting worse and Mr Nelson is using all his magic power to heal her.
"Babies, save them first, perform the crystallization," said Teacher Rachel.
"No! Rachel, you will be fine, absolutely fine," said Mr Nelson.
The second attack is stronger than the first and Kent Maroon barely able to defend the attack.
"Cough...cough...cough" Kent Maroon fall to his knee and cough some blood. Joshua is watching the trio with relish, he can finally have his revenge. Nothing beat the suffering of his enemy.
The third attack is coming and Kent Maroon is unable to defend anymore.
"Please, Nelson," said Teacher Rachel, she is getting weaker. The only thing that holding her is her desire to saves her children.
"It is all my fault, if I never marry you, you will never suffer like this," said Mr Nelson.
"Smack" Mr Nelson receives a slap on the back of his head.
"I was dying here trying to save both of you yet you are here playing seven o'clock drama," said Nelson sarcastically.
"But! It is me..." said Mr Nelson.
"Do you ever you love me?" ask Teacher Rachel.
"Of course! Meeting you is the best of my life," said Nelson.
"Meeting you...is...the best...in my life, thank..." Teacher Rachel is closing her eyes.
"Rachel don't close your eyes, stay with us," said Kent Maroon. Nelson pouring his magic power while calling Teacher Rachel.
The familiar red light appear, Kent Maroon set another barrier to protect them but it breaks like glass. Despairs descends onto them. Joshua that basking in the moonlight laugh maniacally.
"Maria will be pleased to see all of you in the underworld," said Joshua.
"Hahahahahaha, serve you all, serve you all, Maria I am sending some friends for you. Hahahahaha!" Joshua behaving like a mad person. He flying around the formation like he is dancing. He is so happy.
The laughter did not last long and it suddenly stops, Joshua is in shock and an illusionary black wing envelope the trio and four black illusionary sword form a barrier to defend the attack. Mikayla fly toward the trio and land beside them.
"Mr Nelson, how is Teacher Rachel?" said Mikayla. Mr Nelson and Kent Maroon is same with Joshua, they are also shocked and their mouth is opened as big as an egg.
Mikayla arrives beside them and seeing Teacher Rachel condition break his heart. When the trio are trapped in the formation barrier, Mikayla feels something is triggered in his heart, he wants to save them. He did not know the real story but he feels that nobody should die. After hearing Joshua saying he will not spare the child in Teacher Rachel tummy, he know this Joshua did not have any reason in his mind anymore.
Ignoring the warning to not use his heritage, he flies towards them and use the heritage to save the trio. His heritage is stronger than his real Wings but the consequence of using it will cancel the cleansing treatment and will make it harder to cleanse it after this.
"Ooh, it is you! Mikayla Bell," said Joshua. He flies towards Mikayla and stay afloat in front of the wings and sword formation barrier.
"Like father like son. Both of you sure love to meddle with other people business." Joshua said arrogantly. "Good, deliver yourself to me, really saves my time to find you. I always want to kill for a long time already. Hump! another fallen."
Mikayla ignores Joshua and focusing on healing Teacher Rachel. Mr Nelson and Kent Maroon wakes up from their shock and doing everything they can to save Teacher Rachel. A few moments later, Teacher Rachel opens her eyes again and saw Mikayla. All of them sigh relieve for the time being.
Being ignored, Joshua loses his control as he conjures a thousand off green spear and make sure to point it towards the barrier. Fourth attack is coming combine with the thousand spears is makes the people inside the barrier fells so small and weak. Mikayla stand up and stare at Joshua. He did not know where he gets his confidence but he knows he can fend against the attack.
Mikayla Wings is spread open and his heritage resonates with him. The heritage that forms the barrier is glowing with black light and slowly integrate with the light yellow Wings. Mikayla's Wings black shade is getting darker than the previous.
The fourth attack with the spear is bombarded the barrier but it did not budge even an inch. Seeing this Joshua clenched his hand and conjure another thousand spears and once again attack the barrier. He did not wait for the fifth attack from the formation and keep attacking for another three times but all of it did not damage the barrier but Mikayla condition is not so good.
Mikayla feels very energized and feels that he able to block the attack but he underestimates the craziness of Joshua. Joshua keep attacking non-stop and did not give Mikayla any chance to recover his magic power. Mr Nelson and Kent Maroon did their best to help Mikayla. Teacher Rachel is watching all of them and touch her tummy. She pours all her magic power into her tummy and her action is realise by Kent but he stays silent and did not stop her. Rachel nod to Kent Maroon as a gratitude.
Then, the fifth attack comes and they barely defend against it. Mikayla face is paled and he is short on breath. Kent Maroon give him a potion to recover his magic power. Mr Nelson turns his head towards his wife and see her become so skinny.
"What are you doing RACHEL!" Mr Nelson shouted and quickly trying to stop her action but he is too late leaving only a round crystal floating on his wife tummy.
"NOOO! no...no... why are you doing this we..." said Mr Nelson.
"Nelson, we all know here that I am beyond saving. Let the children live," said Teacher Rachel.
"Nelson, your plans are already in the trash. You have to accept this," said Kent Maroon.
Nelson is shaking his head and keep saying "no". Mikayla that standing near the trio unable to understand what is going on. What is the big crystal ball on Teacher Rachel and how did she become so skinny in a few minutes? Tired, Mikayla sit on the ground to recover. Mikayla can see two aura inside the ball, one is white and one is black. He sees Teacher Rachel condition and then move his eyes to see the ball then understanding come to him, Teacher Rachel did something to save her baby.
Unable to have a rest the sixth attack is coming and to their surprise, Joshua still has the energy to conjure thousands of spears. He even conjures a big eastern dragon. The dragon coiling the barrier waiting for any crack in the barrier.
"Mikayla, come here, take this egg," said Teacher Rachel with a smile. Her smile is so beautiful if there is no skin crumbles fall own from her face. "Kent, I'm sure you have a way to get out from here, prepares the necessary I will buy you some time."
"What are you talking about Teacher Rachel? What are you gonna do? Mikayla did not foresee a good ending after hearing Teacher Rachel request. He receives the crystal egg and hug it and able to feel the heartbeats inside the egg.
"I will need to use a lot of magic power for this transportation magic and I will unable to help you defend the barrier."
"Don't worry about it, trust me," said Teacher Rachel.
Kent Maroon see a determine in Teacher Rachel eyes and start to prepare for the transportation magic. Mr Nelson, he did not say a word to refute Teacher Rachel arrangement and probably accepted his wife decision. He sits beside her and hug her carefully.
Red light of annihilation, thousands of spear and a dragon, the sixth attack is the full attack that The Knight and Joshua prepare for them. Mikayla stand while hugging the egg focusing his magic power to defend from the attack. Teacher Rachel starts to accumulate her last magic power and the attack once again falls on them. Mikayla defend the attack for a while until he feels someone grab him and enter a portal.
Mikayla realise that Kent Maroon has dragged him into the transportation portal.
"Mr Kent, Teacher Rachel and Mr Nelson is still there. Mr Kent!" said Mikayla.
"Look at them," said Kent Maroon.
Mikayla see Mr Nelson still hugged Teacher Rachel, both of them turn their head. Mr Nelson opens his mouth and said something to Mikayla and Teacher Rachel is smiling to him. Then, he sees them disintegrate slowly together. Tears flowing from his eyes, no word could describe his feeling and his feet rooted unable to move. His mind cannot process this scene.
Kent Maroon stand beside Mikayla and watch his friend ending. He knows that this is the decision that Nelson has made and as a friend he chose to respect that decision.
"Let's go, don't waste their effort," said Kent Maroon.
