That same day, the students of E-class came with an agreement.
Their teachers gave them two choices. One was to stay there and enjoy their vacation while Lune, Aspen, Kishi, and Kira will go home. And two, their vacation will be cut short and all of them will return.
Apparently, they all agreed to go home. It wouldn't be fun even if just a few of them wouldn't be there. It might be a very short vacation, but they had a lot of fun already so it wouldn't be a problem if they go home.
Their journey back to the mainland went smoothly and peacefully.
Kishi never left Kira alone or let her go even once in their trip, nor even after they arrived at the mainland.
After they all went home, not even one of the E-class students have heard a single word from them as if they ceased to exist.
Amili told them that they shouldn't bother but they're still worried. They didn't even attend the graduation ceremony of the senior students that the E-class are required to attend. How can they not be worried?
Meanwhile, back at the Enchanted palace, the twins locked themselves up in their room. Other then Sychi and Kail, no one else is all allowed to enter without permission.
Kira remained unconscious for more then a week already and Kishi still hadn't let go of her. He kept his dearest sister in his embrace, giving her warmth and comfort in her nightmares.
It was evening when Sychi entered their room. She came there to give Kishi his dinner and to bring Kira's medicine.
As she closed the door and looked around, the room looked the same as the previous days without a single thing touched.
The twins don't really have a good taste in decorating their bedroom. As a result, Airi and Celes teamed up to make it look nice. Kishi and Kira opposed to it at first, but the two insisted and said that they should listen to their elders.
Airi and Celes considered the twins' hobbies and likes as they decorated their room. They choose gold, white, and a light tinge of pink as the color scheme. They also completely altered the rooms design that it looked nothing like before.
Since the room was pentagonal, at the first wall to the right side after the door, there was a fireplace and large bookshelves was placed on both sides of it.
A coffee table and two large and elegant sofas was placed by the fire place and in front of the door.
On the second wall to the right of the door, a window seat blocked by the velvet curtains was placed after a large bookshelf in the corner. In other the side of it was another bookshelf.
Tall arc windows covered in thick silk velvet curtains was seen on the rest of that wall, as well as the wall to the left of the door.
And on the second side to the left of the door and third to the right, a large circular bed covered with fine velvet silk sheets and warm quilt was placed. It was on a higher platform that is two steps from the marble floor that is lined with gold.
Two post that reaches to the high ceiling was placed either side at the front part of the bed where thin curtains embroidered with fine patterns draped over to the floor. And at both side of the round bed was similar tall arc windows.
A large white fluffy teddy bear that was ten feet tall was placed at the empty corner at the left side of the door.
At the ceiling, two elegant chandeliers made with pure light crystals hung at the center of the room. Smaller light crystal hangings are hung around the room, Illuminating the place dimly.
Beautiful roses of innocent and gentle sweet pink filed the room along with black roses. Their scent covered the place making it feel more comfortable.
The room was really neat and everything was in place. Not a single book or stuffed toy was placed randomly on the floor, the seats, the tables, or anywhere.
The room was dimly lit. Although it was elegant and warm, it gave off this gloomy feeling, as though no one was in the room.
The only thing that was touched was the bed. The curtains draped around it and the quilt spreading messily to the floor.
Sychi flew nearer to the bed and placed down the food and medicine to the small table near the bed.
Sychi sighed. Earlier this noon, she also came and placed Kishi's lunch at the same table. Yet now, the food was still there untouched.
Sychi heard a small groan and when she looked at the bed, Kishi had woken up rubbing his sleepy eyes, he looked at her.
"Oh, it's just you."
Sychi felt like breaking something right now. "What do you mean just me?"
Kishi ignored her and hugged Kira lovingly. Sychi was pissed but seeing the children like this, she can only sigh.
"Never mind. Just help me feed her."
Kishi looked at her for a moment before carefully lifting his sister up.
Sychi fed her slowly and carefully so she wouldn't spill. The child is still cold and is only getting colder. With Kishi being with her all the time, sticking to her like glue, he wasn't warming her up, but his hands are getting cold as well.
There was deafening silence between the two of them. Sychi was the first to decide to speak.
"So, how long are you planning to keep things up like this?" she asked.
After long silence, Kishi finally spoke. "Sychi, when will Kira awake? I miss her so much already."
"But aren't you with her always?"
"Yes. But...Kira is only crying. I want her to wake up so she could smile. I don't like seeing her like this."
Sychi gazed at him and sighed once again. "You shouldn't worry about that too much. Be patient, she'll wake up soon."
Kishi fell silent once again and stared at his sister's sleeping face. As he looked at her, he felt like he was staring at a mirror. The only difference is that she looked very scared and vulnerable. It only made him want to protect her even more.
"Forget that, now say ahhh...."
"!"
Sychi suddenly filled his mouth with a spoon full of food. She looked at him with stern look as she said.
"You're skipping your meals again. Seriously child, I know that you are worried about darling Kira, but you should take good care of yourself too."
Sychi fed him again with another spoonful and she gently wiped the crumbs off his mouth with a clean napkin.
"I'm sorry..."
"Just take good care of yourself okay."
Sychi smiled at him, but Kishi stared silently at her. His look gave her an impression that he was only trying to act tough but is honestly scared himself.
His eyes looked dead and restless. His rosy cheeks were pale and his beautiful face looked lifeless. Sychi could only smile anxiously at him. It seemed this child is thinking deeply about a lot of things.
Kishi embraced Kira tighter and tears subconsciously welled from his eyes.
"Sychi, what should I do?" Sychi was taken aback when he suddenly cried, but the words he first said gave her a grim feeling. "I heard everything. I heard it all that day. I'm sorry, I didn't mean it, I didn't do it on purpose. I know the truth now; I don't want to know it. I..."
"Shhh....It's okay, don't cry now." Sychi tried to coax him to stop, but it only made things worse.
"But it's not okay! I just want to be together with Kira forever. I want to protect her so she wouldn't cry or be scarred. I just want the two of us to be happy. But why did things get to this?...I don't know what to do anymore. I'm scared...I don't want her to die..."
Sychi was already rendered silent at this point. She did not know what to say. It's obvious that the child's mind right now was in complete chaos, but what can she really do? What should she say to him?
"What should I do?" He cried. "I don't know anything anymore. I don't want her to leave, but I don't want to leave her either. Sychi..."
"What you do is up to you. It's your choice. Just don't do something you'll regret later on."
After that, she left.
Was that really the right thing to say? What if it'll only make things worse?
Sychi leaned on the door as she hovered in the air. After so long she served the royal family of Enchanted empire, these children are...how can she say it? Their authority in the whole palace is only thirty over a thousand yet they managed to lock down the entire palace, and not even Airi or Meijin could step on an inch of its garden. They were amazing to be honest, but she was more scared of them than she is amaze. They were just so unlucky to be born.
