Chapter 8 - Fae

Day three of The Realm was...enjoyable. After yesterday we came up with a name for my little fairy goddess and settle on calling her Bell. After a bit of research we came to understand that the law she controlled was [The System].

This allowed her to come up with systems to implement within my [Domain] from the rpg like systems you see in games to something...different.

"James, the system your proposing is straight up dumb, your gonna force your world to fight monsters, that will progressively get stronger to gain experience to gain skills?"

"Hey what's wrong with it?!" James looked at Bell and just stared, waiting for her answer.

"If I got into the reason why it's so dumb your head start with your [Domain] will be wasted, aren't your already behind others?"

Bell hit right on the mark, James gave up and just went back to meditating while Bell muttered about her system. She didn't take long to grow up and now instead of only being able to talk with magic she can talk normally, but if people don't understand the language they will only hear the sounds of bells, hence the name.

"Hey James, how much longer until you make your first planet?" Bell was growing impatient lately, she wanted to test out her system but James being in control of the [Domain] made it so he wasn't forced to put up with her system.

"I already told you Bell, I'll make my first planet when we're both strong enough, the way Irean put it out to be managing a planet takes divinity, which we both have little of."

"But what you don't get is once we have a planet we will also gain divinity from the life on said planet!"

James completely ignored her and shut of his senses besides the once's he needed to cultivate his [Core].

"James, how about a compromise, I use my divinity to create a pocket world, a small little [Domain] of my own within your [Domain] so that way we can test both theories?"

"I'm listening." James opened his eyes and stared at Bell waiting for her to continue.

"I will use my own divinity granted by you to form a [Domain] of my own, use my blood to create a race of fairies like me and show you that you gain divinity quicker this way?"

James thought for a while before grudgingly accepting the proposal. Bell let a a squeal of joy and moved a safe distance away from my [Core]. What she was basically doing was forming a small [Domain] and if she made it to close to my [Core] it would eat away at the mana used to form said [Domain] to grow.

My [Core] finally had some life to it, even though it's small right now there was already four spirals in the drop of liquid mana. One was my own magic, one was the pure mana of my [Domain], and the other two were the elements of light and dark. I had to have a basic understanding of each element for it to form in my [Domain].

'I would have more if it wasn't for Bell distracting me!'

. . .

'Finally, he relented and now I won't have to feel so alone!' It took a while for James to agree to my idea but I knew in the end he would. It wasn't that hard to form my own [Domain], I just had to connect it to the [Core] for it to be stable.

Within my own [Domain] was a barren planet, it was pretty large for her size but James would think otherwise. Before her eyes she saw magic forming bodies of water and lands filled with life.

. . .

"Okay, now that I got the water element and earth elements it wasn't that hard to get the nature element, now to get the last two."

. . .

Behind her she felt a heat she never felt before bloom and a blinding light radiated from the heat source. A ball of flame formed behind her casting her world in light, Forests sprung up art around her world and soon she could feel them release air forming an invisible bubble around her planet.

"Wow!"

Bell flew down into the world and felt pressure pushing her down to the ground, it took her a bit to get used to flying under such pressure. She found her self in front of a forest full of tall trees and mushrooms growing all over the place.

After a good while flying she found herself hovering before beautiful tree. The canopy of the tree cascading down to form a beautiful sight to behold. It's leaves a mix of green and blue and surrounded by a lake full of multicolored water lilies.

"What are you?" Bell fell towards the tree and rested her hands upon the bark of the tree.

"Weeping...Willow, so that's what you are!" A childish grin appeared on her face as she flew around the tree.

"You will do just perfect." With a flutter of her wings she stood on a branch of the willow tree. A couple drops of silver blood fell from her finger and landed on the branch of the willow tree. Flowers of all different colors bloomed on the branches of the tree forming a new type of beauty.

"Now I just got to wait!" Bell sat on the branch of the willow with tears of joy as she watched the flowers grow, as she watched her children grow.

. . .

"Okay, now that I have the six elements I wanted and some extras I think it's time I meditate more for my open cultivation level, but first, let me check on Bell."

James stood up to find himself within the [Domain] of Bell, a beautiful world stood before his eyes as he looked at Bells hard work. He found bell sitting on a branch of a weeping willow crying as a bunch of different colored flowers grew around her.

'Why is she crying?' As he was about to descend to see what was wrong the flowers bloomed, fairies of all different colors and sizes fell from the flowers to hover just before the ground.

'Wait, I thought fairies had the same type of birth as humans?' Bell was guiding the fairies and I saw how she thought them a lot about the world, but keeping the fact about my [Domain] a secret. The time in her [Domain] flowed differently then mine, a day in my [Domain] was probably around two months in her [Domain].

"The Fae Realm...that's what I'll call it." Bell appeared in front of me staring right into my eyes, she seemed...happy.

"Well then Bell, I'll leave you too it, I now see how much you needed this, a race of your own, people you can talk to."

The best she could manage was a nod and some tears as she returned to her...children.

"Maybe I should rethink about starting my own world...no, I want to finish the Mana Channeling stage before I do." With a clap of hands I once again appeared before my core.
