Liu Bo turned his head, only to see a pale and handsome man behind him. His expression turned to one of anger as the man's grip was preventing him from landing his final blow on Si Xiu.
"How dare you obstruct me with this puny body of yours! Die!" Liu Bo decided to stop pinning Si Xiu and deal a fatal blow to that cultivator behind him. No cultivator from the Holy Heart Sect will be able to resist a punch from it.
As he swung a fist filled with immense power at the man behind him, the man's jaw dropped to an impossible height that a human could not achieve. It then quickly pulled the jaw up, clamping down harshly on Liu Bo's gauntlets.
"Ahhhh!!! How are you able to penetrate my gauntlet? Unless you are a creature...of...the...Underworld...?" Liu Bo finally understood that what he was dealing with was not a cultivator at all. In fact, it was a creature from the cold and hostile Underworld!
After the man clamped its jaws on the gauntlets, slowly but surely, the flames on the gauntlet slowly started to disappear. Along with the green flames, Liu Bo's cultivation level also started to drop. From Rotating Core Tier-12, to Rotating Core Tier-8...
"No! I won't let myself be defeated by such a meagre creature like you! I have killed even a Astral Projection cultivator before! You can't kill me... you can't." Liu Bo started flailing wildly in his desperate efforts to escape the jaws of the creature. The creature extended its long, bony arms and used them to suppress Liu Bo by the shoulder.
Liu Bo's body started to disintegrate as the creature extinguished most of the flames. What was left of Liu Bo was only a shrivelled up being that looked like a 1000 year old mummy.
Before long, his cultivation dropped to the most basic Body Building Tier-1, before dropping to rock bottom at becoming a mortal and decomposing into a pile of dust and going away with the wind.
Si Xiu, upon seeing that Liu Bo had finally died, vomited out some blood, before fainting, as she was already running on overdrive before and prevented herself from recuperating. Now that Liu Bo was dead, she could now rest easy. Her Qi started to flow to her various injuries and accelerate her healing process.
"Si Xiu! Are you ok? Please don't leave me here alone!" Shen Ying went to Si Xiu's side and shook her a few times. Si Xiu only rolled back and forth on the ground.
"Hehehe... seems like you have forgotten me." Shen Ying heard a voice behind her and spun around to see the creature she had summoned all up in her face.
"Ahhhhh! Get away from me!" Shen Ying pushed the creature away, and tried to run away, but she stumbled on the ground instead, which had slippery ice on it.
"Do you have to be so rude to me? I just wanted to say thank you for letting me sense and devour that remaining power of the Undead Baron. My name is Spectre Commander Li Tang, at your service." The creature slowly morphed back into the form of a handsome man that Shen Ying had seen emerging from the portal. This time however, he looked even more beautiful, with a natural charm oozing out of him.
Shen Ying's heart skipped a beat when she saw Li Tang's humanised form. Even though she had seen his true form, she was still charmed a bit by him. She quickly abandoned the thoughts as she reminded herself that this was a dead being standing in front of her.
"Since you allowed me to consume that Undead Baron's Soul Fire remnants, I request for you to become my master. We of the Spectres have always been honest and would repay gratitude with ours." Li Tang bowed and kneeled in front of Shen Ying.
A contract appeared in Li Tang's hand immediately, with long lines of unrecognisable letters listed down on it. A quill also appeared in his other hand, which he used to draw blood from himself, and sign the contract.
"Now for you to sign, my lady." Li Tang held out the contract and quill outstretched, with an extremely charming smile that hypnotised Shen Ying.
Li Tang sneered in his mind. He had used this trick many a times to lure amateur summoners into becoming his flesh servants. Now that he could find a gullible victim, a rather talented one who could create a portal, he could enter the mortal world whenever he wanted.
As Shen Ying was about to sign the contract, the system's voice popped up.
"Host is about to sign a contract that will turn host into a slave. As this will lead to the system becoming a slave too, utilising powers of fate to alter contract...Complete." Shen Ying signed the contract exactly when after the contract flashed with a golden light and the symbols on it changed.
Li Tang, who was anticipating the moment that the young girl who was standing in front of him turned into his servant, felt an extremely hot feeling in his palm. As he turned to see his palm, an indescribable horror filled him from within.
"No, no, no! This can't be happening!" Li Tang wailed as he saw what was branded on his palm. It held the Underworld symbols for "Master: Shen Ying". How did that brat become his master instead of becoming his servant? He had been doing this for 200 years already! There was no way that the contract should be wrong!
The only possibility that could have happened was if his master was backed up by a major faction in the human world... Li Tang just realised that he had already started to refer to Shen Ying as Master. He started to pound against himself in regret for trying to scam Shen Ying. It was obvious that somebody as talented as her had someone big behind her!
Shen Ying, having heard the words uttered by the system, was really pissed off by Li Tang. She had nearly become his puppet as a result of his machinations.
"Kneel down and kowtow a million times in your human form to the sun for your first task!" Shen Ying ordered Li Tang to do what she instructed. She also started to slap him with the Earth Qi that she had recovered.
Li Trang's eyes started to brim with tears. Not only did he lose all the servants that he had obtained, but he now had to be abused like this.
"Life is simply too unfair!" Li Tang cried out.
"Shut up and repent on your actions, you despicable person!" Shen Ying continued to slap Li Tang.

Somewhere, in another place, a young teenager with a gloomy and depressed expression suddenly woke up in the middle of the night. He quickly turned to see his palm, to see it gradually being erased.
His face immediately lit up upon seeing this brand removed, and gave a shout of surprise. He had thought that it was impossible for him to get out of the abyssal creature Li Tang's contract, but it had really happened! He quickly thanked the benefactor that had saved him.
A face started to form in his mind of a young and pretty girl with a muscular body, who was continually slapping Li Tang kneeling down. It was as if even his revenge was being exacted too. This girl had brought him the greatest gift of his life, his own freedom. He forever owned a favour to her.
Around the world, a select few around the world started waking up and having this phenomena happening to them. All of them promised to be loyal towards the girl that had saved them from slavery.
