"What are you doing? I thought he saved us earlier?" Si Xiu questioned Shen Ying's motives, but she knew that Shen Ying had a reason for doing this.
"He only saved us for his own benefit, and even tried to scam me into becoming his servant. Tell me, does he not deserve a thorough beating through and out?" Shen Ying continued to beat him up while she cultivated her Earth Qi. When she engaged in physically strenuous activities that involved violence, she observed that her absorption of Earth Qi had increased by nearly 10%.
"You actually had the nerve to try to turn my niece's body into a flesh puppet? Why don't you just go and die first?" Si Xiu said with a smile after she heard what Li Tang tried to commit. The temperature around her dropped by 30 degrees.

They then dragged his body into the living room. He was a Spectre Commander, equal to the Rotating Core in the mortal world. It was as if he was being trashed by lower class Undead, making him want to die from embarrassment.
He was about to blow his top off about this issue, but then Shen Ying suddenly spoke on the sofa, "Have you learned your lesson yet?"

"Si Xiu, why did that man intentionally target and try to kill you earlier?" Shen Ying questioned Si Xiu.

He was a Spiritual Foundation cultivator who turned coats to join Yang Emperor Sect, a reputable sect that we have a hostile relationship with ever since they stole our sect's treasures. By the way, did you loot his body yet? Only my master's seal could let him cross the barrier." Si Xiu did a detailed summary of the situation slowly, before adding in a request at the end.
"Mmhm, yes, yes, yes." Shen Ying kept nodding her head to everything that Si Xiu spoke of, while actually thinking of the system mission. She wanted to get the rewards as fast as possible, to level up her cultivation to a new level.
Still, when she heard that Liu Bo was a Spiritual Foundation cultivator, she felt very indignant. If she had chose the mission to defeat a Spiritual Foundation cultivator, she would have the rewards from it.
There was no use crying over spilled milk. She might as well suck it up and go loot Liu Bo's belongings first. Wait a minute, I could just command Li Tang to do it for me. From that thought, Shen Ying conceived the brilliant idea of commanding her slave to do her bidding.

"Oh yeah, could you refer me to the Holy Heart Sect? I would like to try and join the Sect." It had been a lifelong dream for Shen Ying to join a sect and experience life there. She might as well join it since Si Xiu was already in it.
"Sure. I will go and use the communication artifact to contact the sect leader. He's in closed door cultivation now, so it's too bad I can't just message him." Si Xiu stood up and walked upstairs.
Now that no one was with Shen Ying, she decided to open up her system. Maybe she would have some sort of reward for killing Liu Bo with Li Tang?
