Seeing Edward's reaction, Conrad offered to explain. "I understand your concern but keeping her here won't make things any better. As a doctor, I'd rather let her spend some time outside this mansion. It will be very beneficial for her health given her current situation. Besides, it's the Golden Arc. You're the one running the company. If you're going to introduce her as your sister, who will dare touch even the tip of her hair?"
It makes sense, Edward thought. Guess he can't keep her in the closet forever. He felt a prick of disappointment in his chest. He originally wanted to keep her under his wings until the day he can hand her the crown himself. He wanted to pave her way to the throne, remove any hindrance as he possibly could. It never occurred to him that the day she'll try to spread her wings for the first time would come so soon. Most importantly, what right does he have to prevent her from doing so? He doesn't have any. He let out a sigh of defeat before sitting back on the sofa. "Then, tell me what you know about 'Grey'."
"I'm hungry."
Did they just fell into a trap?
