This is going to be tough, Edward muttered under his breath. From the start, he knew that it's not gonna be easy. But never in his wildest dream did he anticipated that something like this would happen. It seems that he needs to be more flexible and open-minded from now on. Who knows what more unexpected things might turn up? Determination now fully plastered on his face, he instructed Ayu to bring them food. The woman bowed before disappearing from the room.
"Why don't we continue our conversation in the garden? It'd be nice to be in an open space." Conrad suggested with a hopeful expression. He feels like he'd be sick staying in an enclosed space while taking heavy information. Edward eagerly agreed to the idea. He needs some fresh air too.
"How about the Neverland?", the young woman cut through with a dreamy eyes and dazzling smile. It was so bright they were blinded for a second. Edward felt something snapped inside him. He can no longer continue to treat this young woman the way he treats the master. No. Freaking. Way. His aura suddenly went dark. A bulb suddenly lit up in his head.
Conrad sensed the sudden change. With the aim to neutralize the situation, he threw an inquisitive look on Edward.
Edward laid back on the sofa. "She's talking about the Greenhouse. Ever since this… mushroom sprouted here, she had been naming things like a total idiot."
