So that was it, Conrad confirmed to himself after hearing the young woman's response. The light at the end of the tunnel now seemed to glow brighter and bigger at each passing time. "Then, let's go to Neverland."
"Of course!" Edward's mood lightened up, thinking about a thousand things he will do. The young woman who identified herself as Exia, got up still hugging her teddy bear.
"Neverland! Neverland!", she said happily as if citing a mantra, the mocking words already forgotten.
Elias carried Conrad's bag and led the way to the back of the mansion where the Greenhouse is located. It's a big, white dome with a brown wooden door. From afar, it looked like an eggshell with a slightly flattened top protruding from the ground. Edward entered first after Elias opened the door for them, the young woman followed him, and then Conrad who was slightly blinded by what he saw inside. He gaped in disbelief, stood frozen on the door while the other two continued their way to the center where a timber frame style pavilion is erected.
Scattered lush green vegetation of newly grown plants, fragile looking flower buds, and vibrant colors of varied flowers in full bloom. Conrad couldn't believe his eyes. The scenery in front of him can be compared to those heavenly gardens in fantasy stories and picture books. It's very surreal. He would not be surprised if any time now a fairy would show up and kiss him on the tip of his nose like how they do on those animated movies that his grandchildren often watch.
