"Y-you recognize me?" Conrad nervously asked while recovering from shock. The young woman sat beside Edward, still hugging her fluffy, brown teddy bear.
"Of course. I saved you once," she muttered innocently while playing with the teddy bear's bulky arms. Conrad was taken aback by her words. Edward, who had been with the master for the last 6 years never recalled anything about saving Conrad. Could it be that it happened before he met the master?
"What do you mean by that?" Conrad inquired. Even though he cannot recall such incident, he needed her to speak more for his diagnosis. The previous personality would not even socialize nor utter a single word. The person in front of him now is the total opposite. Even his years of experience in medicine cannot possibly answer the tons of questions regarding the current state of the Seie family's heiress.
She glanced at him with a sad look in her eyes before focusing her gaze to her shoes. "Well, you probably didn't see me. But I saw you, through a small window. You looked so terrified. I told her that you're a really good doctor."
A small window? Told her? Edward sat stupefied. What in the world is going on?! Clearly, the person sitting beside him is not his master. No, not in a million years!!!
