Edward immediately got out of the car after arriving in the Seie mansion. He told Xioman to cancel all his activities for the other half of the day and sped off without any word. There is a storm calmly brewing in the horizon, so strong and unpredictable that it could tip the balance of the Four Quadrant. The fact that he could be the catalyst for it makes his throat dry out of dread and fear. He stormed to the Georgian style mansion, eager to keep his head intact. He originally planned to die out of old age but with the current situation, he's not so hopeful anymore.
"Mr. Conrad Deitrich, thank you for coming over at last", Edward gave the family doctor a tap on the shoulder. Since they're familiar with each other, there's no need to be so formal. The doctor, in his late 60's nodded. Edward motioned for them to sit facing each other. Butler Elias stood at the side, his eyes glued to the marble floor, ready to take action at the Seie family's bidding.
Conrad smiled apologetically towards Edward. "I planned to come sooner but today's the best chance I've got." Edward's face dimmed after hearing the doctor's words. There's no need to spill the beans. They both know no doctor was allowed near the master, as per that wicked witch's command. She definitely wanted the young heiress to vanish from the face of the Earth without getting her own hands dirty. This crucial situation would be no different.
