Mr. Long is planning to have a party in his residence a few days from now to celebrate the contract they have closed once again. He thought hard in his head how to twist his words carefully to make sure that Edward Suarez will attend the event without any qualms. His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a phone call. What a bummer! Mr. Long greeted his teeth in dismay. He promised himself to get the information next time, by hook or by crook.
Edward smiled widely as he excused himself to take the phone call. Ah, it's a pleasure to see that expression of almost getting something. Almost. The disappointment in Mr. Long's face lightened his mood. "I'm gonna break your spirit one step at a time, Mr. Long", he thought with a devilish smile. With these thoughts while walking back to his office, he answered his phone mindlessly. "Hello?"
"Sir, the family doctor finally agreed to see the master. We're on the way back to the mansion." It was Elias, the Seie family's butler. Edward stopped in his tracks. His expression changed dramatically. "Tell him to wait for me before doing anything. I'm on my way." He hastily went back to his office to get his things, rushing past his secretary who does not exert any effort to hide her admiration for him.
