Veon kept shooting the zombies once their new heads appeared but every time he looked back, there would be another zombie going to his direction.
He wondered if this was the kidnapper's attention: to get advantage of the situation. Did he really want to get Sheloah?
He was shooting a lot of zombies but he started limiting his shots since he may run out of bullets. He didn't want to waste his extra bullets because an emergency may come up.
Veon sighed exasperatedly and decided to run away. No matter what he does, the population of the zombies would just double its number. He knew, however, that he can't run forever. But he also knew that he didn't have a choice. If he would stop now, he would die and he won't be able to rescue Sheloah. He didn't want that to happen.
Ever.
Veon started feeling tired so he quickly hid behind a big tree and sat down to rest. After a few minutes, some zombies noticed him so he got a long, sharp stick and decided to attack them with it.
