"What!?"
Veon and Sheloah's uncle shouted in unison as they heard what Geof had said. Veon even stood up from his wheelchair, forgetting about his wound as his worry for Sheloah erupted like a volcano.
'Damn… look at the mess I just put myself into.'
"Sorry, Veon, Sheloah's uncle. I couldn't stop her and even Tyler followed her," Geof said and Veon sighed, irritated, as he frustratedly sighed.
"Veon, calm down… your injury," Josh said and Veon looked at him with sharp eyes.
"Calm down? You're telling me to calm down? How can I when Sheloah went to a place where it's dangerous?!"
Veon sat on his wheelchair abruptly and Josh just looked at him, worried.
"Sorry, Josh."
He apologized soon after when he realized that he was acting too rashly when Josh was just trying to calm him down.
"It's also partially my fault. I should have just kept my mouth shut. I'll handle this. I'll get her with the help of some of my comrades no matter how it takes."
