Chanyeol stared at the picture on his screen again for the millionth time that day and contemplated how he could have gotten so lucky.
How had he won the tickets to go and meet his idol Baekhyun?
How had he won that contest?
He had entered it with such little hope. And secretly, because the entire place was crowded with hordes of beautiful girls and women of all ages and types. And even a few other fanboys. All greedily, excitedly buying up items to enter the raffle from Latte Mall. He had bought a single scarf. A pretty blue one for his grandma. He hadn't expected to win. Not even remotely.
But he had wanted to hope.
Had wanted to try.
Now...
Now... he had 48hrs to respond... or rather he had originally had 48hrs to respond. But he had been so sure it was fake.
Maybe a mistake.
But then he realized he would have to leave his grandma. Buy an expensive train ticket and leave her alone for a few days while he went off to see his idol. And he had felt bad. Because he didn't have much money, because he would have to leave her alone for the first time...
And because leaving someone you love even for a short time is always hard.
Especially for the first time.
But she knew him. She knew what he liked and when he told her. She had told him to go... and he didn't want to leave her... but... but ...
She had won the argument. And threatened to box his ears if he thought he could stay. When he asked why she had said just for good measure.
'I hate when she does that...'
So it was down to the wire and he only had one thing left to do before he could go...
All he had to do was say yes and the VIP tickets were his.
Yes.
That's it and he would meet the hottest star in Korea.
Number one trending.
LEAD SINGER OF EXOtic
Breakout actor of the year.
BYUN BAEKHYUN!
The only problem was that he knew it would take all of his savings to use those VIP tickets. And he was wondering how long it would hurt his pocketbook if he did? How long he would have to live on instant Ramyeon and bread. He sighed just thinking about how lacking his snacking would be.
It is hard to fill up a body as giant as his... he had a feeling he would be feeling pretty empty.
But just how long could he live if he gave up the tickets???? Chanyeol thought about it and sighed. ''it just wasn't possible to pass up the opportunity, he could snack at any other time. But only once could he ever meet Baekhyun in person.''
"Live a little Yeolie! What do you have to lose." He said aloud.
Chanyeol looked down and closed his eyes before sending an instant reply on Nine.
The bold Yes text danced brightly before his eyes. And with a small squeal of excitement, he fell back his body crashing into the fluffy covers of his mat before he closed his eyes. A big goofy grin on his face.
In just a few short weeks he would be going to meet his idol.
FACE TO FACE!
