Once everything was packed Yuuki, lucy and their suitcases were in the living room looking at their home for the last time.
"Neehhh Yuuki, do we have to leave this place, it's been our home since we left the orphanage"
They left the orphanage when they were 18 and now they were 20 years old, for 2 years they made this small apartment into their home.
Yuuki embraced her by the shoulder " I'm afraid so, but don't worry we'll build ourselves a better home in the future"
"Okay.. if you say so... but I was wondering aren't there anything like storage ring you see in those cultivation novel or something, I really don't wanna carry all these suitcases"
Lucy is what you called a Big fan of novel, anime and other otaku stuff, so she finds this situation quite exciting but she also knew the danger.
" There are but not right now, and besides you need to make them, and the only person who can is a person who has a skill called crafting"
"Uhhhhh... I see"
Yuuki poked her forehead " Now let's go, hehehe"
"Ouch!!" Lucy rubbed her forhead and pouted.
seeing her like this Yuuki, just smiled.

Later that night Around 2 am
They seem to be standing in front of closed General store ( It's a store that has slight hardware to food)
" Yuuki you aren't thinking of doing what I think you are about to do"
"You thought right" he smiled at her as he showed her the hammer
Yuuki then hammered the lock a few time the hammer and slowly it broke and he opened the door and went inside with lucy and the suitcases"
Yuuki than closed the door, and looked around for something.
"Babe wait here, I'll be back"
"Wai.."
Before she could finish he dashed off inside
" He always does that" she pouted as she complained
a few minutes later she saw him coming back with some planks and nails.
"Babe could you help me hold it while I nail them to the doors and long glass windows"
"Sure...." she knew it was important so she didn't complain.
Once everything was nicely shut, Yuuki and Lucy went inside.
"Doesn't this store belong to the Hiroshi from the orphanage"
"Yep, it's Hiroshi from the orphanage, remember he was such a bully, especially with your skin color, so us taking his shop is like a small payback"
Yuuki grinned
"Yuuki, you're very bad you know that, but I like it, by the way now what do we do??"
" Now we wait"
"wait??" Lucy tilted her head to the side
seeing that Yuuki couldn't help but find her extremely cute and just wanted to hug her but he held it in since there were important things to be done.
SO he coughed and said " Yes, we wait for the unfortunate people to zombify, and then we have to wait for at least 2 more days for them to have a chance to form a blood crystal"
"Blood crystal??...Blood crystal??.. ahhhh it's that thing that helps human to evolve right??'
"Yes, so you did pay attention when I mentioned it last time" Yuuki patted her head.
"Yuuki don't treat me like a kid!!" lucy pouted however internally she loved it but she couldn't tell him otherwise he'd tease her all the time.
"hahaha, but you are shooo cute" Yuuki continued patting her head
" Jezzz" Lucy complained again but didn't move his hand
"Okok... So where was I?? Ahhh yes!! Blood crystal"
"1st let me tell you about the human body, Our body is like a stove, and the blood is the fire, so the stronger the fire the hotter and better the stove, however right now if you get infected by the blood rain, you blood become soo strong that your body can't handle it"
"So, if we can't handle the Blood rain then how do you expect us to handle the Blood crystal, I assumed it's more potent than the blood rain" lucy asked
"Well it's because, the blood crystal it's extremely bizarre and fascinating, as even though it's extremely potent to the point that it'll cause a genetic mutation to the body thus evolving but it doesn't cause any harm to the body"
"Why??" Lucy questioned
" Frankly I do not know but it's just like the blood rain, no one knows why or how, but it's there, and the principle same for blood crystals"
(A/N: I was too lazy to think of something if you have a suggestion do tell me so that I can integrate it into the story later)
"Now enough about that, let's get something to eat, we got ourselves all the things we need"
"Hahaha sure, what do you want to eat tonight Yuuki"
"Ahhh let's see... how about steak and fries"
" You do realize it's late-night now and you wanna eat such a heavy meal"
"YES!!! " Yuuki smiled showing his white teeth
"Sigh! Now, who's the baby" Lucy sighed seeing him acting like a baby, but nonchalantly took off her sweatshirt and wore an apron that she saw in the shop on top of her sports bra.
"Could you at least help me Set up this unboxed Stove"
"Ai..Ai captain" Yuuki stood up went to prepare the stove
Lucy laughed seeing him like this
After preparing the stove, Lucy asked Yuuki to wash and cut the herbs and potatoes.
While Yuuki was cutting the Potatoes, Lucy started tenderizing the meat that she took from the fridge using a tenderizing hammer.
Once it was tenderized, Lucy took a plastic bag and put the meat inside, then she put some olive oil, freshly cut herbs and closed the bag and started mixing it.
(A/N: bear with me it won't be a cooking novel, but maybe just here and there somethings to freshen up things every now and then)
In the meantime, Yuuki was done with cutting and started admiring Lucy's beautiful face, and noticed that a few strands of her silvery wavy hairs were coming to her face and disturbing her as she tried to blow it away a few times.
Seein he like this he smiled and he slowly walked toward her and with lovingly and tenderly he caressed her hair and pulled it back and tied into a ponytail with a hairband.
(A/N: now don't ask how he found the hairband, they are in a store after all)
Noticing Yuuki, Lucy smiled and rested her back on his wide chest while she was still mixing the meat.
" I love you" Yuuki hugged her waist and whispered to her ears
"I love you too, but Yuuki, not now otherwise we won't be eating anything" Lucy knew that if this continued they'd forget about cooking and just get into making love.
"Heheheh, I know" Yuuki then kissed her on the cheek and left her to do her things, while he went to get rid of all the cameras after all he wouldn't want to have him making love with Lucy be recorded.
A few minutes later a delicious smell entered Yuuki's nose, and smelling it he knew that dinner was ready.
Returning he noticed the lights which he had turned on earlier were off, instead, there were many candles and then he noticed a small round table with big candles and then a thought came to his mind 'Isn't this the legendary candlelight dinner?'

Then he noticed Lucy dressed in a Red Asymmetrical Dress " Seeing her Yuuki was mesmerized but also confused as to how the hell did she get dressed so fast while back at home, she would take at least 2 hours and still she'd ask for more, however, he knew that if he told her that, he'd have to sleep far away from her won't get any action tonight so he just said what he thought he should"
" You look stunning babe"
Yuuki then went close to her and kissed her.
" I know now let's eat"
