The girl stumbled through the door.
After three steps she collapsed on the ground and her vision began to slowly fade. Before fading she saw a pair of legs approaching and the barrel of a long rifle pointed towards her. As her vision completely faded she lost consciousness.
Unbeknownst to her, she had actually benefited from this sudden crisis. She had awakened a Psionic Ability. However, it would take her some time to realize this.

Space rippled and tore as a fleet of innumerable warships began to appear dozens to hundreds at a time. They quickly split into groups and formed various formations around a single world. Or rather, they had so many ships that the net they cast surrounded the nearby planet as well. A single starship was in center of this massive fleet. It was organic by nature, however there were parts of it that were made of metal.
Despite having so many weapons pointed at it, the ship continued on its course. What happened next was as expected. The ship was torn to shreds by the massive fleet. It didn't go down without a fight though. Several other ships were also now nothing more than debris.
Time seemed to rewind as the fleet appeared and repeated the same course of action again and again.
It was unknown how many times this scene played out.
It suddenly changed however, when the lone starship suddenly seemed a lot larger.
It held it's course again, however this time things played out drastically different. Although it was still torn to shreds, it escaped. Once again time seemed to rewind again and again.
For a third time the scene changed. But this time was nothing like the previous. Several fleets of around the same size as the previous appeared. Several fleets were part of one group, several were part of a different group, so on and so forth.
An utterly massive Dyson Sphere was before these fleets.
If one wanted a comparison, it made even the largest dreadnaughts seem like slightly large ants gathering around a skyscraper.

The girl bolted upright as she panted heavily and trembled in fear.
'What was that?' She wondered as she tried, and failed to calm herself.
