'George called this youth Great-Grandfather? And the teachers greeted him as Headmaster...are you telling me that this youth is an old monster? He doesn't look older than 20!' Thought Elijah while he started sweating under the gaze of the youth. His gaze alone put him under great pressure.
Elijah took out a platin token from his space ring, showing it to everyone.
"My bloodline is my trump card, I only use it if my life is in danger. This was a friendly fight between students, it would be highly inappropriate to use it against a fellow student." Explained Elijah.
"You are a Core Member of the Ranger Guild? Don't they only accept Rank-1 Grand Warriors or stronger as Core Members?" Asked an old teacher with suspicion.
Elijah stayed silent.
The Headmaster was still staring at him, Elijah couldn't tell what he was thinking.
"You only use your bloodline when you life is in danger?" Asked the headmaster calmly.
The uneasiness grew heavier inside Elijah, he still nodded stiffly.
"What is more important, honor or life?" Asked the Headmaster.
Elijah clenched the platin token in his hand, 'What the actual hell is wrong with this dude?' Cursed Elijah.
Everyone heard the question form the Headmaster and they focused all their attention on Elijah.
Elijah took a deep breath, "Life is more important, there is no meaning in honor if you are dead. Honor doesn't feed you or your family, honor doesn't make you stronger, honor doesn't protect from evil." Answered Elijah.
The atmosphere inside the arena changed moment the people heard his words.
It felt like a volcano that was ready to erupt.
The Headmaster's gaze moved for the first time away from Elijah.
"Life without honor...is no life. You are not a Warrior, you are not even a Terran! This will forever be your inner demon and you will remain at the bottom. You say you only give your all when your life is in danger? You better give your all now, if not you will die." Spoke the Headmaster softly.
The Headmaster moved his hand, his palm struck out.
Elijah cursed, he never felt such a danger before. His whole body seemed to scream.
The palm moved slowly but it was still fast. Elijah felt that he would die here, he wanted to use his Silver Light when a shadow landed between him and the Headmaster.
The figure moved fast and met the palm from the Headmaster head on with his own palm attack.
Strangely no sound could be heard but the ground beneath them cracked open.
A fierce gust of wind hit everyone, making them take some steps back.
"Since when dares the Green Academy to lay their hands on members from my Ranger Guild?" Asked a loud voice.
*CAAAAAAWWWW*
The Headmaster frowned and looked up at the sky, a gigantic white bird was circling above them, the pressure that came from its body made it hard for everyone to breath normally.
The Headmaster looked back at Elijah, at the platin token inside his hand to be exact.
"Guildmaster Simmons, you jest, I simply wanted to test this junior." Answered The Headmaster with a faint smile. A glint flashed through his dark eyes when his gaze finally fell on the person who just saved Elijah.
Elijah had never seen the person standing between him and the Headmaster before.
He had only met the Vice Guildmaster when he became a Core Member of the Ranger Guild.
The Vice Guildmaster was shocked by his talent and bloodline, he deleted all his test results and ordered him to never use his bloodline in front of someone else. He gave the platin token to Elijah telling him to just pour his Soul Flux inside if he found himself in trouble.
That was what he did when he took out the platin token with a beast head carved on it. He felt that something was wrong with the whole situation and poured part of his Soul Flux inside it.
Elijah never expected that the Guildmaster would personally come to his rescue.
Guildmaster Simmons turned to Elijah and smiled. He had short spiky brown hair and sowrd shaped eyebrows. His body was massive and his muscles were even more buffed than his grandfather.
"The Green Academy seem to not welcome you anymore, don't worry you can come with me to the guild, we will nurture you personally." Spoke Guildmaster Simmons.
Everyone gasped in surprise, Green Academy was the best academy inside Evergreen Empire but it couldn't be compared to the Ranger Guild, one of the Superperpowers of Ario Continent.
Elijah sighed delighted, he looked at the people, the students, the teachers and the Headmaster. He took off his soft green coat and threw it on the ground.
"I will quit the academy, I realized that our beliefs are different and the academy only tolerates pawns." Stated Elijah coldly.
The Headmaster frowned deeply.
Elijah nodded to the Guildmaster, who grabbed his shoulder, he jumped up in the air where they landed on the back of the gigantic white bird.
"We are going." Ordered Guildmaster Simmons, the white bird flapped its gigantic wings.
The bird flew so fast that they soon vanished into the horizon.
An old teacher walked to the Headmaster, "Headmaster Mason. this..."
The Headmaster was still frowning, "It doesn't make any sense for the Guildmaster of the Ranger Guild to come personally to save that young man, only if..."
The Headmaster didn't end his sentence before he suddenly vanished.
The teachers send the students off. Only a few of them knew where the Headmaster went, they followed suit, heading where the Headmaster was.
Three old teacher arrived beside the Headmaster who had his hand placed on the black pillar. If Elijah would recognize the black pillar, it was the one who tested his aptitude when he joined the academy.
The Headmaster had his eyes closed, when the pillar lit up.
"Incredible....his Soul Flux is too pure, how did he do it? His Soul Flux was so pure that it altered with the aptitude test results." Spoke the Headmaster.
The three old teachers frowned.
The Headmaster hit down hard on the pillar, that litp up brighter.
Soon words appeared on its surface, "Fourteen years old, Rank-1 Senior Warrior, High Bloodline."
The old teachers nodded, that was his test results, but the last words started to blur and changed slowly. Their eyes bulged when they read again.
"Fourteen years old, Rank-1 Senior Warrior, Mystic Bloodline."
"Impossible! A Mystic Bloodline!?" Shouted one of the old teachers.
The Headmaster opened his eyes again.
"Now it makes sense..." Said the Headmaster while a vicious glint flashed through his dark eyes.
"If he really has a Mystic Bloodline then he will be able to found his own Dynasty!" Commented an old teacher shocked.
"Only the Royal Family from the Lionheart Dynasty has such a Mystic Bloodline, I can't believe we just lost him to the Ranger Guild!" Said another teacher.
"We can't do nothing...the Guild Alliance is too powerful..." Said the third old teacher.
"He won't live long, it's true the our empire can't touch him but...there are enough people who would do anything to kill him." Spoke the Headmaster with an evil grin.
The three old teachers looked at each other and nodded.
"It's better that way."
