Three days had passed since Elijah was taken away by the Ranger Guildmaster from the Esmerald City branch and some news shook the entire continent.
Someone with a Mystic Bloodline had appeared in Green Academy.
The news spread like fire through the whole continent.
It was said that the youth was taken away the Ranger Guild the Green Academy had a chance to recruit him. It didn't take long until Elijah's name and information were leaked to the public through various means.
-----------------------------------
Patriarch Silver was shaking in anger, he had just heard the news about Elijah.
"GOOD! Very good, Roland and his stupid son Steven! Our Silver Clan could have become the same as the Royal Family from the Lionheart Dynasty! Now he was snatched away by the Ranger Guild and we became the laughing stock of whole continent!" Cursed the Patriarch loudly.
Violent Silver Flames exploded out from his body, burning the chair he sat on into ashes.
Craig who was the one to report him everything took some steps back, the pressure and heat that the Patriarch was emitting was too much for him and he collapsed.
The Patriarch snorted, calming down so that Craig could stand up again.
"I'm sorry Patriarch, I immediately came back to Silver City when I heard the news. It wasn't difficult to connect them to Elijah." Said Craig with a pale face.
"It's too late now. The Guildmaster took him away and no one knows where they are...I already knew of it, it seems like the news were leaked by the Royal Mason Family. They will hunt Elijah down and kill him." Said the Patriarch with a pained expression.
"They?" Asked Craig confused.
The Patriarch looked out of the window, "The Lionheart Dynasty won't let another Mystic Bloodline exist beside theirs....and they aren't the only one that will hunt him down with everything they have."
Craig gulped, he was jealous at Elijah's bloodline but now after hearing the Patriarch...
"His talent will be his death." Muttered Craig.
The Patriarch nodded, "The Ranger Guild is powerful, but they aren't united. It will come down how well they hide him from those people...I'm 90% sure that he won't life long."
-----------------------------------
"Are the news accurate?" Asked a dignified voice.
The person kneeling in front of the man who spoke nodded, "Yes your Majesty, his name is Elijah Silver, he was banished from the Silver Clan because they thought he was a waste. It turned out that he has an unknown Mutated Mystic Bloodline. The Ranger Guild took him away, his whereabouts are also unknown." Reported the person.
The man sitting on the magnificent throne with lions handle harumphed.
"You know what to do, the price doesn't matter. He must die! Silver Clan you say? Tell the Gold Clan about it too, I'm sure they will assist you."
The kneeling man grinned evilly, "As you order your Majesty!"
-----------------------------------
Roland stood outside, looking at the enormous ocean, "To think that his Silver Light was a Mystic Bloodline...It makes me wonder what his Eye Bloodline is then? What is higher than a Mystic Bloodline?"
"Dear....we need to go." Said Elia who walked to his side.
Roland turned around and hugged her, "Yes we need to hide, they will come after us."
Elia started to cry in Roland's embrace, "I just hope that Elijah will be fine."
"Me too, but you know how he really is, how he always was behind his facade. He will be fine."
Eilia nodded, "I know, he is frightening."
Roland smiled, "Exactly, let's go..."
-----------------------------------
At an unknown place, deep in the underground stood a huge demonic altar. The atmosphere was around it was eerie and the aura coming from the demonic altar was sinister and evil.
At the highest platform were 14 people sitting on thrones. There were vicious looking demonic statues surrounding them. Suddenly black smoke appeared in the middle, forming a face.
"I hope you have a good reason to interrupt us." Said one of the cloaked people. His voice was unlike any other voice, it was deep, rough and sounded like it came straight from hell.
The face made of black smoke in the middle of the platform smiled with evil intentions.
"A Mystic Bloodline appeared inside the Evergreen Empire, The Ranger Guild took him away."
The voice sounded distorted and wicked.
"Oh? What a bad timing, we only need four more years to break the Second Layer Seal. We can't spare any manpower until then. But we allow you to use the Outer Devils to catch the target. If not possible then.... Eliminate him."
"May the Sacred Devil guide you!" Spoke the face before dissipating into nothingness.
There were thousands of people kneeling and worshiping the altar on the ground. They had crazy and twisted expressions on their faces, the veins were black, making their eyes look wicked and demonic.
Red, sinister gases were constantly coming out of their bodies, the gases were sucked into the huge altar.
A complex with many runes inscribed magic circle lit up underneath the platform were the 14 cloaked people sat on their thrones.
"Four more years...."
"And we will drag the Ario Continent again into chaos."
"I look forward to it..."
"We will fulfill the Sacred Devils Decree and break the remaining Layer Seals..."
"Let's focus on the Second Layer Seal and then we can talk about the other 2 Layer Seals."
"I can't wait to meet our God..."
-----------------------------------
Guildmaster Simmons was greeted by the Vice-Guildmaster Devon inside his office, "Everything went smooth?"
"Yes, he is safe." Answered Guildmaster Simmons exhausted.
"Good, there are people waiting for you..." Spoke Vice-Guildmaster Devon carefully.
Guildmaster Simmons sighed, "It happened like we predicted?"
"Yes everything went like we expected."
"Hypocrites, it won't go their way. Right what about his grandparents?"
Vice-Guildmaster Devon shook his head, "I went personally to Flower Island but they had already vanished..."
Guildmaster Simmons frowned, "Let's hope they escaped before someone could get them..."
"That should be the case, you know I departed the moment you took Elijah with you, I was the fastest, I just wonder how General Silver got the news so fast..." Wondered Vice-Guildmaster Devon.
"He has his means, go and invite our guests in."
Vice-Guildmaster Devon nodded, exiting the office and coming back 4 minutes later followed by four people.
"Welcome friends, what can I do for you?" Spoke Guildmaster Simmons who put up a thin smile.
A strong looking warrior with three scars on his left cheek snorted, "Cut the crap Simmons and hand over the boy to the Hunter Guild, he is too precious for your bunch of beast loving losers!" Spoke the warrior with arrogance.
Guildmaster Simmons just shrugged, "Guildmaster Barrett, It was his choice to join us, he could have gone to your Hunter Guild but he decided against it. That's all to it, you can leave."
"Is that so?" Asked Guildmaster Barret with a threatening tone. A fierce aura came out from his body.
Guildmaster Simmons smiled brightly, showing his white teeth.
The room darkened, a pair of humongous eyes appeared on the window behind Guildmaster Simmons, it stared straight at Guildmaster Barrett. Also Vice-Guildmaster Devon standing in the background unleashed his own aura.
"That's how it is." Spoke Guildmaster Simmons calmly.
Guildmaster Barrett harrumphed coldly before turning around, leaving the office.
"I only want to know if the boy has any Master Path?" Asked the old dignified man.
"Guildmaster Roberts, it's an honor to have you here. Yes the boy has a Master Path." Answered Guildmaster Simmons respectfully.
The old Guildmaster Roberts observed Guildmaster Simmons for a moment.
He gave a slight nod and departed silently.
Guildmaster Simmons focused now on the two remaining guest and frowned for the first time.
The two were from the War God Temple.
The old man wearing a golden priest robe just smiled. There was a paladin standing behind him like an unmovable mountain, he was clad in a golden full body armour.
"Cardinal, it is an honour." Guildmaster Simmons stood up and bowed to the old priest.
"Hahaha no need to be that polite with this old one, I haven't seen you praying in our temple for quite some time..." Spoke the old priest softly.
Guildmaster Simmons gulped, "You know how busy I am Cardinal, I will go tomorrow to pray."
"Good, very good." Spoke the old priest happily.
There was a long silence in the room, Guildmaster Simmons started to grow nervous.
"So Cardinal may I ask why are you here?" Asked Guildmaster Simmons carefully.
"Ahhh yes the boy with the Mystic Bloodline, I'm sorry I forgot for a moment, the old age you know." Said the Cardinal.
Guildmaster Simmons wiped away the sweat from his forehead, he didn't believe even one word coming from the Cardinal.
"Well is he faithful?" Asked the Cardinal suddenly flatly. His expression went from friendly to serious too quickly, throwing Guildmaster Simmons into a stupor.
"Of course he is! There is no doubt about it Cardinal." Answered Guildmaster Simmons confidently.
"Oh? He never even once visited a War God Temple, I fear..."
"No, no,no Cardinal! He was born and raised on Flower Island, there aren't any temples there." Answered Guildmaster Simmons quickly.
"Hmm I guess you are right, there aren't any temples in that rural part of the Ario Continent...I need to change that...well with that said, we need to make sure he isn't part of the Sacred Devil Cult."
'Oh my god!' Exclaimed Guildmaster Simmons, that was what he most feared.
He could handle the other powers but the War God Temple was without a doubt the strongest and most influential Superpower, even the Lionheart Dynasty could only bow down in defeat in front of the War God Temple.
"Cardinal, the boy is only 14 years old, he was raised by General Roland Rael Silver and his wife Elia Sheffield. It should be impossible for the boy to be an evil spawn from the Sacred Devil Cult." Explained Vice-Guildmaster Devon, stepping forward from the background.
The Cardinal's sharp gaze wandered over Vice-Guildmaster Devon, his sharp gaze made Vice-Guildmaster Devon shudder in fear.
"General Roland Rael Silver is a devoted believer of our God Terra..." Said the Cardinal softly, smiling again like a senile old man.
"Let us go Bryan."
The tall paladin nodded, opening the door for the Cardinal.
Only when both Simmons and Devon were sure that they were gone did they finally relax.
Guildmaster Simmons fell exhausted on his chair.
He stared out of the window, 'I have faith in you Elijah....'
