At Devil's Club
Devil's Club is one of the most famous clubs owned by Leonard. Today, after a long time, Leonard had decided to join his group of friends for a drink in the VIP area of the place.
Eric raised his hand to pat Leonard's shoulder. "Long time no see mate."
"Yeah, it's like we have to book an appointment to see your ugly face these days." Robert pitched in while sipping at his scotch.
Leonard rolled his eyes "Are you guys done being melodramatic?". He said while looking around for someone. "Where is the other asshole? He's not here today."
Robert rolled his eyes "He's busy with his shit, just like you."
Eric shot a suspicious look between Leonard and Robert "Am I missing something?"
"No." both Leonard and Robert said at the same time, glaring at each other.
Eric's suspicions were confirmed. He knew these assholes very well, even if they wouldn't say anything he would find out what was happening somehow.
Suddenly Leonard's gaze fell on the back of a woman who seemed to resemble Lily. He saw a man sitting beside her, saying something to her. She moved her hand away from the man and seemed to be replying to him. Leonard's doubts cleared up as he realized what was happening.
He stood up quickly, "Wait here, I have some matters to deal with." he said to his friends and left the room.
"Hey! What matters? Where are you going? Hey!" Eric exclaimed.
"Patience, you will see something fun in a bit." Robert snickered.

Lily looked at the ID of the caller and read Tulip. Tulip had been calling her for quite some time now but Lily's mind was totally blank.
"Leftover woman" These words had not stopped clattering around in her head. Lily turned her phone off and looked around. Her gaze fell on the sign for the 'Devil's club' and without much thought she went inside and sat at the bar.
Lily was drowning her sorrows away and after 10 shots of vodka she was demanding more. The bartender was concerned for the lady. " Ma'am you are alone, drinking more won't bring any good to you." he said.
By now Lily was feeling warm inside, a cozy sensation spread through her because of the alcohol. Her vision had started to blur but she looked at the bartender and bit out "Just give me the drinks, it's not like I'm drinking for free so just do as I say!"
The alcohol had hit her hard, turning her behaviour aggressive. A man came up to her "Let the lady drink man." he said to the bartender as he looked at Lily, lust apparent in his eyes.
Lily looked at the man with disgust "Go… away" her words came out in a slur.
Anger filled the man's eyes when Lily looked at him that way. He forcefully grabbed her hand "Bitch I'm talking to you nicely, how dare y-"
"Who you are calling a bitch?" A voice boomed from behind him.
The man turned around and he meet the murderous gaze of Leonard. Before he could say anything, a punch landed on his jaw. Blood came out of his mouth.
Leonard gazed murderously at the stranger "You shouldn't touch what's not yours.". He turned to look at Lily and without saying anything he carried her out of the bar forcefully. The sound of breaking glass was heard from behind him, the bartender's mouth was wide open. He had never seen his boss chasing after a woman, it was usually the other way around.
Even Eric who was watching the drama unfolding infront of him never expected to see something like this. On the other hand, Robert was expressionless as if he was expecting this outcome.
Eric narrowed his eyes accusingly at Robert "You knew."
Robert just shrugged and stood up, patting Eric's back "You are going to see this type of thing a lot more often now. Poor you, you will be the only single person in our group." he chuckled.
Eric glared furiously at him "What do you mean by that you asshole?" Robert only smirked and left the club.

Outside the club.
Lily was aggressively trying to get out of Leonard's grasp "L-let me go, asshole... or I'll scream!"
Leonard looked at Lily, his nostrils flaring from anger. "What the fuck, Lily? Are you out of your mind? You could have been molested! Who told you to drink so much… instead of having gratitude you are screaming murder."
When his grip loosened, Lily, without wasting any time, got out of his hold and tried to run away but Leonard quickly recaptured her hand.
Tears started to fall down her face. She was howling loudly infront of Leonard. Many people glared at Leonard as they passed by. Leonard, on the other hand, was panicking seeing Lily cry so loudly so suddenly. She was just hitting his hand and then, out of nowhere, she started crying.
"Hey... Hey what happened? Shhh don't cry Lily." He tried to calm her down.
Lily's tears didn't stop, with tear filled eyes she looked up at him, "Why would anyone want a leftover woman?" she questioned him.
Leonard was completely confused as he gazed at her "What nonsense are you spouting Lily?"
"I'm not talking nonsense! It's true that nobody will love- nobody will want to marry me. I'm just a leftover woman, Leonard! Someone's LEFTOVER! Who will want the leftovers of another man?" She cried.
Leonard didn't understand who put this rubbish in her head "Don't speak nonsense Lily. You are not leftover. He was stupid to throw away a gem like you." he gazed at her softly.
Lily narrowed her eyes, "Then prove it.".
"What?" Leonard was bewildered as he looked at the girl in his arms.
"Prove it! Marry me. You stole my first kiss... So take responsibility! Marry me." Lily screamed at him.
Leonard's eyes were turning dark "Are you sure you won't regret this tomorrow? Tell me Lily."
"I won't regret it, marry me." She insisted.
"Okay, but remember, once you become my wife there is no going back. You can't escape me." He stated.
