A faint odor seemed to be diffused throughout the huge hall from the door that Bruce just opened, lingering behind and clinging onto Kael with every breath he took. It made him feel repulsed and uncomfortable from the depths of his soul, a disgust that he couldn't express in words.
The room he was led to wasn't the largest in Hammer Mansion, but its size was still befitting that of royalty. The hall was fifteen meters tall, extremely lofty and gloomy in spite of all the lighting lining the walls and the massive crystal chandelier hanging in the center of the room. Their light could hardly illuminate the enormous room.
On a table that was twenty meters long, Louise sat upright at one end dressed in lavish white attire. He was facing a scantily dressed young lady dancing on top of the table that could serve up to thirty people at once while eating.
Louise was an oddly charismatic man, with a smile on his face. His black hair was combed back so neatly that not a single strand was loose, forming an indispensable part of his face alongside his short, thick beard. Eyes like emerald orbs were filled with lust and desire.
As he sat there casually, he skillfully sliced the roasted lamb chops on his plate as he ate in quick bites, sipping on the red wine on occasion. His actions were strangely rhythmic. Of course, he was eating too quickly, too eager to conquer the'feast' dancing before his eyes.
The feast laid out in front of Kael, on a trolley, was sumptuous; the delicacies by the huge kitchen of the Hammer Mansion, whose crew was made up of one of the best chefs in the entire country.
However, he didn't appreciate the food on the trolley. He didn't give a fuck about the food or the decorations in the room or the mansion.
Kael couldn't deny that Louise's wealth was way beyond the reach of normal humans, even as he wanted to smash his head open.
But for now he had to bear with it; not for himself, but for Sophia. He still wasn't aware of Sophia's whereabouts and the implications of his actions on her, but his unwavering determination, patience, and wisdom told him that he would understand all of it, just by asking Louise in a single 'torture session'.
Kael Strider tried his best to hide his anger and walked into the room.
After gracefully polishing off the lamb chops, Louise Hammer finally wiped his mouth clean with a snow white napkin and smiled. His huge mouth revealed two rows of dazzling white teeth but it soon turned into a frown.
"Bruce! Why are you here? Who is supervising the operations in the Andes?" He asked, as he pulled the lady dancing on the table and gripping the clothes in front of her chest. He then ripped her entire dress apart with ferocity, instantly revealing her bare, naked body. The young lady instinctively cried out in fear, but immediately choked back the shrieks that were about to follow.
She obediently placed her hands on either side of her body while clenching her fists tight, resisting her instincts of covering up her exposed breasts and lower abdomen.
He then started to fondle her breasts with his left hand as he looked at the men who had just walked into the room for answers.
"I …" Before Bruce could utter another word, Kael moved as fast as he could and closed the door before using his raw strength to lock the door in place by bending the door.
He knew that the longer he gave Louise the more trouble he would have to face, so he took action as he saw him put his guard down.
"Sir, what are you doing?" Bruce asked as he tried to reach for his revolver tucked into his waist but before his hand could reach the gun, another hand grabbed his neck.
It was Kael, who managed to see the outline of the revolver on the shirt due to his heightened senses and reacted in time.
He then knocked him out by bashing his head with the revolver before rushing towards Louise, who was silently retreating towards the window of the room upon seeing the actions of the masked man.
Realizing that he was his next target, he pushed the naked lady in front of Kael, still lacking proper control over his new body, he crashed directly into her.
"Ahhhh" she screamed before losing consciousness.
"Help!!!" Louise shouted as he pushed the window open, trying to jump out of it.
But before he could jump through the window, a hand grabbed him by his wrist before pulling him in the room.
"Where the hell are you going, Mr. Hammer?" Kael asked as he slammed him heavily into the long table like a medieval washerman {1}, washing clothes.
*Boom*
The table showed its fine quality by bearing the force without any harm to it, much to the dismay of its owner.
"Ahhhh…."
Louise screamed like a pig being slaughtered, as he curled into a ball due to pain.
The screams alerted the guards of the mansion, so they rushed towards the door.
"Open the door" an aged voice came through the door that Kael locked.
"Sir, the lock is broken"
"Break it"
*Bam bam*
Upon hearing these noises Jerry slowly walked away from the door. Trying to find a way to escape.
Kael ignored all this, he only stared at the man who tortured him for months on end.
"Where is Sophia Lowell?" he finally asked Louise after picking him up.
"Kill him! Somebody kill him!" Louise ignored his questions as he was unable to comprehend the severity of his situation.
Kael was angered by his actions, so grabbed his left hand's little finger and, directly ripped it off of his hand.
"Ahhhhhhhhh…."
Louise wailed but his tormentor didn't stop as he ripped the little finger of his right hand.
"Ahhh… ahh... Stop! PLEASE… STOP!" he growled while resisting his urge to scream.
"If you want me to stop, then tell me where Sophia Lowell is? Where the hell is your wife?" Kael barked as he proceeded to grab Louise's left ring finger.
"Stop! Are you sent by Lowell family? Look, I will double whatever they offered {2} you for this, so please let me go" he pleaded while offering the infamous deal of a famous dwarf. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
But Kael didn't stop and ripped his left ring finger, then, ignoring Louise's screams he removed all the clothes covering his face and upper body, revealing his red skin and the barely visible tattoo of a black sun with a face on it.
His crimson eyes and black hair enhanced his demonic looks, which scared Louise shitless. Even Jerry who had already seen his face was scared as he crept into a corner, afraid of diverting this monster's attention towards himself.
"It's me who will be asking questions. Your only job is to answer my question. Do you understand?"
Louise nodded without wasting any time, afraid of losing another finger.
"Where is Sophia Lowell? What made you think that I was sent by Lowell Family?"
