"Louise, it seems like I was too hard on you. You don't even remember me. Let me jog your memories a bit and make you remember me and my promise to you" Kael said coldly as he silently walked towards the broken door.
He walked out of the room and then moved towards the direction of sound in the huge hall that his heightened hearing kept picking up.
He stopped in front of a door that appeared similar to the rest of the doors in the hall. He entered the room after opening the door, the room was similar in size to the room he met Louise.
The walls in the room were covered by many beautiful paintings and statues of different shapes and sizes.
Kael wasn't attracted to any art piece except for one that was hanging on the wall in front of the door.
It was interesting because he could hear the muffled sound of breathing from the painting or from the other side of it.
"Rich people really are creative at creating hideouts for themselves" He muttered before punching the painting with all his might.
*Boom*
His punch left a hole the size of a basketball in the painting, from which light was coming in.
Before he could peek inside the hole, a grey revolver was pointed at him.
*bang*
The bullet hit his forehead, the pain felt similar to an electric shock that made him dizzy.
*Bang*
Before he could get over his dizziness, he was shot again. This time the shooter targeted his chest.
"Uhh..."
Before the shooter could shoot him a third time, he tolerated the pain and tried to use both of his hands to widen the hole. The wall made of metal behind the painting was easily twisted by him.
in the secret room, there was a young lady in her early twenties huddling behind a mature woman who was aiming a revolver at him with shaky hands.
The young lady was shivering from fear while tears trickled down his cheeks.
"Don't worry Natalie, God will protect us from this evil being" the mature women said in an attempt to calm the girl behind her but even she didn't believe in her own words.
"Lady I am here on goddess's will, though I am pretty sure she is not the god that you are talking about" Kael joked before rushing up to the women and snatching the gun.
"Mom…" the young lady huddling behind the mature woman shrieked as she saw Kael standing near her mother.
Hearing her call the mature woman 'mom', Kael was able to easily guess the identity of the duo.
"It would be a lot easier on both of you if you follow me without any struggle or it won't take me much time to knock both of you out, though I don't know if you will only be knocked out if I took action" he grinned and offered the choice as he wanted to bring them with him without harming them and wasn't confident in knocking them out without killing them.
"We will follow you" Knowing that they were like ants in front of this monstrosity the mature woman gave up on the struggle.
*************
After Kale walked out of the room, Louise was too scared to check the Kael's location so he asked his butler "Walter go check if it's safe for me to retreated to the 'safe room' or should we find somewhere else to hide from that thing?"
Before Walter could answer, he saw someone jumping out of the window that Louise opened during his failed attempt to escape.
*Dhoo*
"Sir, Jerry escaped. I think we should follow him, after all, he came with that thing to meet you. He would know more about him than us" Walter suggested.
*Boom*
Before they could do anything they heard a loud sound which sacred them even more so both of them decided to escape from the window.
"Let me check the route first" Walter jumped from the window first to check if it was safe to escape from there or if it was a trap laid by the red monster.
*Bang*
*Bang*
He looked around for a while and just before he was about to ask Louise to jump out as well two gun firing sounds came from his left side.
Too scared to think properly Louise hid behind the table to save himself.
Walter being a veteran was able to make decisions properly in such a situation and he climbed back into the room before rushing towards the location of firing sound.
But his path was blocked by Kael who came back with the mother – daughter duo.
"Let madam and young miss go this instance or I will fight to the death with you" He roared upon seeing the duo following behind the monster.
"Thanks for confirming their identity," Kael said cheekily.
Hearing this, Walter lunged towards Kael.
But before he could even come near him, Kael took a step forward before meeting his punch with his own.
Though the Old butler was a veteran who fought in two wars, he was a normal human with 'normal' strength in the end.
When both their fists met, a crunch sound could be heard from Walter's arm as his body flew backward like a kite in wind.
*Puff*
Blood gushed out of his mouth as he crashed into the wall of the room with his hand completely mangled.
But instead of taking care of his injury, he tried to stand up while bearing with pain but failed to do so. In the end, he pleaded "Let them go, I know what kind of things Louise has done and I covered it all for him but they are innocent, you can deal with us as you want but please let them go"
Kael stared at him for a while before walking towards him "I didn't know you were such a loyal dog, so I will be a little bit compassionate for you and…"
He came close to him before brutally stomping on both his legs, turning them into mush.
"Ahhhhh…" Walter wailed but instead of stopping Kael broke his last normal limb before continuing.
"...let you watch the faith of your young master and his family. Hehehehe" he started to laugh menacingly.
Watching this Louise was both furious and scared but to protect his family from this monstrosity he rushed towards him from his hiding place below the table but being an untrained man who passed his time between women's legs he was easily caught by Kael.
