I peeked through downstairs to see what was going on.
"I see…" Nurhan crossed his arms. "Leave the matter about Ridhwan to me, but keep this away from Tasha. I do not want her to know."
As soon as Waiza bowed and left the living room, Nurhan stood up. His eyes diverted to me that was standing upstairs. He climbed up the stairs casually and placed his palm on my forehead. "Your fever has gone down."
I squinted my eyes with my pouty lips. "Are you trying to interfere with my revenge plan?"
Nurhan cleared his throat and walked into the bedroom, pretending not to hear my question. I tailed behind him while he casually approached our bed and started to tidy up our bed.
Looking at the bed, it reminded of me when Nurhan took care of me with such love and concern. Whenever he wanted to get me to drink to stay hydrated, he used his soft and husky voice to persuade me. Whatever that Nurhan had done from the beginning of saving me, it was because of love.
Even though I did not want Nurhan to interfere with my revenge plan, I knew that there will come a time where I did not have that much power and capabilities.. Compared to Nurhan's.
"Thank you," I locked his left arm with my hands.
He stopped tidying up the bed halfway. His head looked down to look at me innocently. That sparkling pair of eyes were cold when talking to his employees. I was glad that I was able to see a different side of him.
"For?" He raised his right eyebrow.
I released my hands from locking his arm. Both of my hands held onto both of his wrists. I looked up to my tall husband as I was only at his chest level. I grinned as I stared at his eyes. "Everything."
"You're not mad?" Nurhan asked.
"For trying to interfere with my revenge plan?" This time I raised my eyebrow. I chuckled and put my hands around his waist, pulling him into my embrace. I rested my head on his chest. "No, I believe that you're doing it for me."
My husband pushed my body forward, tightening the hug. His long hands covered my whole body while his head were placed on top of my head. "Thank you for your understanding."
There was a hush of silence across the room. I was enjoying the moment of our embrace. So was Nurhan.. Hopefully.
"It's hard to resist myself from interfering with your plan, especially when it is within my capabilities." Nurhan kissed my forehead. "Just tell me whenever you're tired. I will crash both of them with a blink of an eye."
