Chapter 38 - My Backdrop

I felt so powerful when Nurin and Nurul stood in front of me. Nurin had always been respectful and polite. I could not wait any longer to show Nurul the difference between Nurin and her.

Nurul's facial expression changed from being proud to being humble when Ulfah introduced herself and Nurin to me. I wished Nurhan was beside me and laughed together with me.

I love this sight! The sight of Nurul's humble expression. It's time for her to realise that talent was as much important as connections. Since Nurhan had plans to settle on Ridhwan's matter, I could shift my focus on Nurul.

"Well.." I dragged my words. "As long as we have Nurin, I guess that we'll be fine. Ask them to get ready."

Ulfah smirked and escorted Nurin and Nurul to the changing area. Waiza continued to follow me as I walked to the photoshoot area. I browsed through all the shawls for my upcoming collection.

There could be only one word to describe this feeling. Satisfaction. I could not believe that my shawl business was doing well. I had always wanted it to be successful. If it weren't for Pearl's X, maybe my business would have gone into the drain.

I snorted silently without being noticed by anyone when Nurin and Nurul were all ready for the photoshoot. My gorgeous shawl… I felt like I insulted the shawl that Nurul wore on her head.

Nurin and Nurul got ready in their positions and adjusted accordingly as what the photographer wanted.

As I examined the shots on the laptop, Ulfah came beside me and whispered. "Nurin wasn't given a choice to choose earlier on. Nurul grabbed the shawl that Nurin took."

What a loser…

"It doesn't matter, Nurin looks much more outstanding in all the shots." My right corner lips curled up in silence.

Ulfah took a look at all the shots. "Seems like someone became a backdrop."

I giggled before leaving the photoshoot area. "Ulfah, I want all the pictures of the photoshoot the first thing on my desk tomorrow morning."

"Yes, ma'am." Ulfah bowed in respect.
