I looked at my black loose waves hair with a messy finish that was reaching my waist area. I have only realized now that the hairstyle never suited me. It made me look like I was going through a rough life.
Nurhan was sitting at the back while reading a business magazine. The male stylist was waiting for me to tell him the kind of hairstyle I wanted.
"S-curve rebonding and I want my hair to be of a shoulder length," I informed the hairstylist and he nodded as he started to prepare the necessary resources. I stopped him. "And I want it to be medium auburn. Hate this black colour."
As the male hairstylist started to cut my hair, I already felt like a new person. Right, this was the chance. This was a chance to live your life again, Tasha.
I did not realise that it's been hours since I was in the salon until I saw Nurhan actually dozed off with his head leaning against the wall facing up through the mirror in front of me. He looked exhausted.
Once the male hairstylist finished up his last touchings, he patted Nurhan's shoulder. Nurhan opened his eyes and rubbed them. He could not help, but smile with my new hairstyle. As I stood up and walked towards him, he held his right hand out to reach out for my waist.
"Dazzling," Nurhan turned to the male hairstylist. "Wonderful job."
The male hairstylist bowed in honoured. "I am honoured to hear your praise, sir."
Nurhan pulled my waist close to him and we both walked out from the salon. His face was brightened up as he turned to me. "Where to next, sweetheart?"
"You look happy," I giggled. "I guess you have enough sleep just now."
He pinched gently my cheek. "I am happy, because I can't believe that I'm actually spending quality time with someone I love."
"Really? Your family?" I grabbed his hand from pinching my cheek and held on warmly against mine.
Nurhan shook his head and his expression was down. "My whole family passed on during the car accident. My mom, my dad and my younger sister. After that, my relatives just stay away from me and leaving me behind all alone."
I cupped his cheeks and made him faced me. "It's okay, you have me. I will be by your side. Forever."
"Forever?" His eyes sparkled.
I chuckled and nodded. "Yup, but now I need a new make-up style. I want to go for American make-up style. The old me used to go for the Korean make-up style."
