"Yawn" Daniel rubbed his eyes as he awoke from a deep sleep.
As he looked over at the window projection, the sun was poking through the tree canopies. It's rays and morning dew creating a beautiful scenery.
Daniel unfurled the blankets and sheets as he laid his feet against the tile floor.
"Oooh, too cold!" Suddenly a soft carpet materialized above the tile floor surrounding his bed.
'Ah... Better.' He stood up and stretched till he felt his muscles loosen and bones creak in relief.
'I could get used to this...' Daniel lamented. 'From what the Old Man explained, I'm only able to do this because I'm inside the Hall Of Hearthlight.'
Daniel walked over to his bathroom where he washed his face, brushed his teeth and tongue, and took a piss.
He dawned his armor and made sure it was secure. Afterwards he grabbed his twin swords and equipped them.
*Knock* *Knock*
Daniel heard someone knock at the door and calmly walked over.
Daniel opened the door and was greeted by a young boy.
The young young boy looked up at him with soft green eyes and was quickly startled. The towering figure in front of him was decked out in black armor and armed to the teeth.
"Uhh... Sir, a-are you Da-Daniel?..." The little boy trembled where he stood.
Daniel commanded his armor to remove the helmet as he squatted down to the little boys height. "I'm sorry little one, I didn't mean to scare you."
Daniel rustled the little boys blonde hair and spoke softly. "I'm Daniel, what can I do for you?"
The little boy smiled after realizing the stranger wasn't a bad guy. He extended his little arms, in his hands some cloths were neatly folded. "Mister, these are the welcome ceremony robes! My Teacher asked me to deliver them to you on his behalf!"
"Ah, thank you! I'll make sure to tell your teacher what a great job you've done." Daniel smiled and took the clothes from the kid as the little boy nodded and ran away.
Daniel took the extra time to look around. 'It seems that as long as someone knows my room number they'll be able to summon my door.'
With that thought in mind Daniel closed his door and walked back towards his bedroom. There he laid the cloths.
'Cool.'
The robes were made of a black material with red designs, the largest was a red flame on the bottom half of the robes, the smoke form the flames moving upwards.
'Well, how the hell do I wear these robes without removing my armor?' As if the armor had understood his intentions, it dissolved and entered his skin. Disappearing from view.
Daniel's eyes went wide. 'How the hell?' Daniel commanded the armor to come back. The armor reemerged from his skin, almost as if it hadn't dissappeared just now.
'Woah, that is so cool!' The armor receded back into his skin as he began to put on the robes.
He immediately ran to the mirror to look at how he looked.
'I'm not disappointed, this actually looks pretty decent.' Daniel was satisfied with the way the robes looked and posed a little.
*Knock* *Knock*
Daniel made sure he was ready, quickly patting down his pants he quickly realized in this world he didn't have a wallet or a phone.
"Sigh."
Daniel walked over to the door and was greeted by a familiar face.
"Hello! Nice seeing you again!" Anise greeted Daniel with a bow.
"Hey, nice to see you too. Are you here to take me to the welcome ceremony?" Daniel replied.
"Yes, I came to get you first. Now we just have to wait for Adora to finish up and we'll head over." Anise replied in a jovial tone of voice.
Daniel stepped out of his dorm space and closed the door. Adora's door soon materialized next to the terminal.
"Hey Anise, why are my robes black and red while yours are a monotone grey?" Daniel voiced out in curiosity.
"It's rather simple, if you aren't a disciple of a teacher you'll have dark grey robes, it's the standard uniform. If you are part of the faculty and management team for the Academy then you get these light grey tobes. If you are a disciple of a teacher you'll inherit their colors. Black and red are sacred colors for the two most important people in the academy. You are in fact the only one with these robes. No one has ever had Mr. Specter and Mr. Hearthlight as teachers at the same time."
As Anise finished her explanation Adora walked out of his room. He wore dark grey robes, his hair still damp from the shower he took.
Adora nodded at Daniel and he reciprocated the greeting.
"Hello, Adora. Ready to go?" Anise asked with an amiable smile.
"I am." Adora replied.
"Walk with me you two, I'll explain everything on the way."
