Daniel crouched as he arrived in front of the prince and with full force slammed his shoulder into his gut. Grabbing his legs, Daniel used the momentum to slam him onto the floor.
*Oof*
The wind was knocked out of the prince's lungs. Daniel propped himself up before throwing punches at the prince's helmet. Each punch that landed, resounded across the stage, but as time went by the thuds got deeper.
The prince planted a solid kick to Daniel's chest, causing him to almost fly back while coughing blood. He twisted his torso as he crouched down further, letting the remaining energy from the kick slip past him as he threw a hard right hook. Dazing the prince.
The prince tried to fight back but Daniel was relentless, his rage fueling every punch. Because of his fear, he wasn't fully using his strength, but his rage kept him going. Yet he hadn't lost reason, or else he would've ripped the prince apart like he had done to the ape in the jungle.
The crowd was astonished at the gap in strength.
"Mr. Hearthfire, I believe that this is enough." The King of Illumina spoke in a soft voice.
"There are rules in place for the Battle of Fates, King Glados. The prince may concede if he is unable to continue with the battle.
The King frowned but did not speak further.
Hearthfire didn't stop the fight because Daniel didn't have any killing intent. So the prince's life was secured.
Daniel slowly stopped punching and stood up. Catching his breath as he walked back to his side of the arena and waited for the prince to stand up.
Daniel's breath slowly stabilized after waiting for a moment. He quietly looked around, watching the crowd. He could easily see the lower, middle, and upper classes. The crowd was silent, the whole of the coliseum was silent. Nothing but the sound of a soft breeze could be heard as everyone waited for the prince to get up.
Daniel tilted his head as he wondered whether he had killed the prince or not.
"Oi, Teacher. Is the Battle Of Fates a fight to the death or not?" Daniel shouted at Enfred who was roughly thirty feet away.
Enfreds eyelid twitched, but he still responded either way. "No, Daniel. This is not a fight to the death. If the prince isn't breathing in ten seconds I'll firmly plant my ******." The crowd heard a Beep as Enfred began spewing profanities.
Hearthfire on the other hand was chuckling but had decided to censor his son's fowl mouth, there were small children around.
Daniel quickly walked to the prince before removing the deformed helmet on his head. Looking at the pig's head Daniel couldn't help but grimace. 'I might've gone too far..'
Meanwhile, Enfred leaned close to his father. "I thought you said this would be a difficult fight for Daniel???"
"I may have... Underestimated the little gremlin." His cheeks turned red as he looked away from his son, too embarrassed to look him in the face.
Enfreds eyebrows were raised in surprise. "How?"
Hearthfire turned back a spoke solemnly. "I don't know why, but I'm not able to read his body. The thing that has me racking my brain is the fact that he doesn't have a cultivation base and is this strong. Not to mention his Bloodline, something else is up with his power. I've tried many things, but not even during the ceremony was I able to get a read on his power."
Enfred nodded. "I understand, I thought I was the only one who couldn't see his power."
"We'll talk more later."
...
Daniel slapped the Prince once more.
"Ahhh!!" The prince yelled as he sat up suddenly.
"Ah there we go, you're awake. Welcome back! Can you fight or do you concede?"
The prince growled as he ground his teeth in anger and embarrassment. Suddenly the prince threw a punch at Daniel catching him by surprise. The punch was fueled by the Prince's anger and the armor's amplifying effects.
Daniel skidded against the floor until he reached the edge of the arena. The Nobles applauded as the prince smirked and stood up. His pig's head caused the smirk to look more like an ass crack than anything else.
Daniel got up slowly, all while blinking away the tears in his eyes and wiping the blood from his nose.
"Listen, you complete waste of space. Let's remove the armor and brawl for real. You don't deserve any more chapters."
The prince responded by recalling his armor. "I don't know what you are referencing but your utter disrespect in the face of Royalty is telling of the primitive mongrel you are."
Daniel and the prince ran at each other. A moment before they were gonna clash the prince sent a fist toward Daniel's face.
Suddenly Daniel twisted his body, dodging the fist and falling backward. As he fell he placed his hands right behind his head to catch the momentum like a spring while his right foot whipped back at the prince, landing a solid kick to his temple.
As Daniel pushed against the ground to jump back onto his feet, the prince crumpled down onto himself. Completely knocked the fuck out.
The commoner population instantly began to cheer as the war drums followed after.
"The Victorian of the First Battle Of Fates is Daniel! With that amazing move, I'd like to call the Twist Of Fate!"
Enfred and the Old Man smiled with pride. Their final disciple had won a fight that would forever be remembered as a dual that went against the odds and would set the precedent for his future endeavors.
