As the sun begins to rise and cast a warm soft glow upon the land of Ranstor people begin to wake from thier slumber and start thier morning routines.
But for a Demon who has sleeping problems like me, it feels more like a pain in the ass if anything.
Although the night was filled with haunting dreams filled with dread, today was a special day as i'm finally turning 18!
Today is not just important because of my age but due to the fact that i finally am able to bond with a beast. All the races execpt for monsters were able to form a star essence bond with beast, or a star bond.
Even beast folk, but that was due to them Evolving in a different manner than beast, causing them to be humanoid.
Beast range from 1 star all the way to 20. All Races including beast and Monsters have vocation and they all begin at grade one, so everything has an even chance to become stronger through thier own means. Beast are determined to be stronger than other with thier star grade, Intelligence and Type. Like how an Earth type Beast might be vulnerable to an aqua type beast, but this doesn't mean that the Earth type will loose.
The odd thing is that Beast aren't able to develope a class until they have a partner to bond with, making it a symbiotic relationship between the two. The Beast's Vocation usually depends on the vocation of its Partner but thier are exceptions. If someone chose the vocation of Mage, its beast could aquire one of a gaurdian or Healer.
The amount of vocations that are available are to great to count but beast usually compliment thier partners vocation. One is capable of obtaining multiple classes but this puts a strain on thier Body as it requires them to have the strength for it, as well as for the body to change internally.
Bonding with a beast isn't all fun and games as the bonding process could kill one or the both of you.
This is due to the mana found within both the beast & the Person & how well they are able to fuse thier together.
For example if your beast have a small amount of mana within it, but you have a large amount, they it could potentially explode if they bond without adjusting to each others need. They have to find a way to make the flow of mana from on another small enough that it doesn't kill the beast but large enough that the Person doesn't go through mana deprivation.
Adjustments are life or death within the bonding process and both parties have to be willing to bond or the process will not begin.
Due to this most people who are able to bond hatch thier own eggs to be able to make the bonding process a million times easier.
The beast has an innate ability to know that you are a different species as it is not mentally handicap but it will have a good will towards you for hatching it.
That is exactly what i will be doing today, Hatching my very own egg. They process for it is not all that difficult as it just takes one being able to funnel mana into the egg and then find a comfortable place for the egg to rest on. What determine's what beast will hatch is actually unknown, for some reason, as soon as the egg is taken from a wild beast or from its parents it becomes random.
Its a phenominon know as 'Egg Randomized Phenomenon' or ERP for short.
Because of this reason alone, its up to chance on what kind of beast you will obtain and beast races are almost as diverse as vocations.
I rush towards the monster breeders because everyone knows that this is the easiest way of obtaining an egg as well as the fact that your first egg is Free!
Im practically running towards it but soon come across a familiar face that forces me to stop dead in my tracks.
